I hope people see how the media treated Jay Cutler and understand that the same thing is happening to Aaron Rodgers and it needs to stop. These guys arent “arrogant”, they’re not “too laid back”, they’re just normal people with different views on football. Its like if any QB gives an INKLING they have other things in their life they want to do other than football and they arent named Tom Brady, everyone buys into the media narrative that those guys “arent all in” and “dont need to be starters”. Appreciate the fact that these guys can play such a dangerous game AND STILL be able to have lives off the field at all.
@albanpajova19892 жыл бұрын
I have to respectfully disagree on Rodgers. Aaron gives off very arrogant vibes, at least to me. Jay is way more chill and seems way cooler while Aaron has a certain smugness to him. As much as I love Jay, I would hate someone with his personality to be my QB. I can't stand Tom Brady, but to be the best at something, you have to be that psychotic about it. It's why Rodgers only has 1 ring, and why unfortunately other QBs don't come close to Brady. With all that said, I'm glad Brady is retired, the NFL will be more fun to watch again.

Mike Martz tried to kill this dude. And all the idiot media could do was rag on Jay. Martz was running a outdated offense that only works if you have in prime level Orlando Pace on your blindside anyway. Seven step drop; smash Cutler, repeat. Constantly get any QB in third and long and long and their interceptions go up. Also take so long to get the play out that Jay couldn’t snap the ball on time! Dude got beat to hell and all the media did was question his toughness! Fools! We don’t even need to mention the debacle that was the Trestman era. Blame that ridiculous hire on Cutler.Then the media and fans dogged him for going out of the NFC championship game with a knee injury. Which required surgery afterward! Maybe the fact that he stood on the sideline afterward means he is tough as hell just to do that, not that he should have been out there playing! He was an above average serviceable QB that could make elite throws from time to time. And light years better than any QB the bears have had in my lifetime. Guess the McNown, Krenzel, Trubisky parade is better?

docj09 Yes he was....at the end of Cutlers college career. Cutler started college in 2002 and DEFINITELY couldve been the starter instead of Holliday those first couple seasons. And in 2004-05, Quinn wouldve had some Actual competition for his job with 1 of those guys probably transferring.
