I don't remember that much about this one. I know we were very stupid back then (mainly) for two reasons. First reason - we took way too much on our shoulders - we tried to record 11 songs in one day with video, 3 takes each, so that's 33 songs! Second reason - we wanted to make the shooting day more pleasant for the cameramen, so we brought a keg of beer with us. The cameramen told us they don't really wanna drink during their job (very professional, I RESPECT that) soooo what were we supposed to do with all that beer? Pour it down the sewer?? That's not the Czech way!!! Oh and I believe some small portion of a certain wonderous herb circulated too. That's right, we were badasses. Or maybe we were asses and it was bad. But I don't think it ended up being bad! We got that beautiful video of Kayla from that session - and that's a real wonder, cause that was Song 10 sometime in the late evening after the whole day. After that we've only done Isabelle, which I'm not even sure we included. If we did, we probably shouldn't've.
It's still a great memory and it's fun to listen to these songs from which we don't play much anymore. (Jools is my favorite)
Huge thanks to our handy cameramen and our photographer Jan Prokopius. Also, as usual, huge thanks to LMK... wait! Haha no, we actually did the mix!!! Me and Danny, we got together in the morning and worked until late midday hours. I remember coffee with rum was my morning beverage of choice. Man... I was a real nasty beast back then, wasn't I? Now it's all about a nice bowl of pudding in the evening. Alright, hope you'll enjoy and don't forget - the whole album is also on Spotify and all the other streaming services, so you can take us with you on your phone when you go for a walk or something.
