Jay has been playing drums for decades, having been taught by his uncle Freddie Dittamo, and has played and worked with (to name a few) Chuck Berry, Lenny White, Keith Emerson, Bucky Pizzarelli, Chester Thompson, Adam West, AND members of Frank Zappa's Band in Banned from Utopia. He was given the task of becoming Nektar's new drummer following the passing of their original drummer Ron Howden almost a year ago. The conversation will touch on the making of the album, recent touring that has just finished, and whatever drum-related topics come up.
