Side and front cams are more for stationary security. A lot of great work you guys have done !

Thanks! And that's a good point. Getting the cameras set up for stationary security is a bit of work but it would be nice to have it for that if it was set up. It's my understanding that all your exterior parking lights have to be on whenever the cameras have power so we haven't even tried to use it for security.

Hello, I was wondering about your puck lights with the option to turn blue. Does the regular light output match with the rest of the lights in the RV? I hope it makes sense. I really enjoy your videos.

Thank you! Yes, the regular light looks like the standard puck lights. It does also have an option to dim the regular light by holding the button down when the regular light is on. When the lights are off, clicking the button once turns the regular light on. To turn the blue light on you hold the button instead. In either case one button click turns the light off. And for the regular light there's the extra feature of being able to dim by holding the button. Hope that helps!

How much weigh did the solar add?

That is a little tricky to answer. If you look at just the batteries, our original lead acid batteries weighed more than the LiFePO4 Battle Born batteries we installed. But we replaced 2 lead acids with 3 lithiums. So we had about 100 pounds of lead acid batteries, and added about 90 pounds of lithium batteries, so we actually saved a little weight in batteries. The inverter we added weighs about 40 pounds. The extra solar panel was about 25 pounds. The rest of the components and the cable all have weight to them as well but not as much. I would guess the combined weight of everything else is under 15 pounds. We didn't weigh the trailer before and after the solar install but we did weigh our rig fully loaded after everything was installed. I still haven't put together a video with the weight information but I'll include it here in case it helps. We took our trailer fully loaded to a CAT scale. We have the 171BH and tow with a Ram 1500 with a weight distribution hitch. The weight was done with 2 adults, 2 kids, and a dog in the tow vehicle. Here's what we had packed in the truck bed: - 2 kid bikes - 2 boxes of firewood - Propane fire pit and extra 20 lb propane tank - Blackstone Griddle - Prep Table And in the trailer: - Completely full fresh water tank (55 gallons) - 2 full 20 lb propane tanks - Loaded fridge, freezer, and pantry for 4 day trip - 6 extra gallons of drinking water - Clothes for a family of 4 for 4 days - Standard camping supplies (chairs, camping stove, pans including a cast iron pot, tablecloths, rugs) We also had the upgraded solar setup which adds some weight to our rig: - Extra 190w solar panel (380w total) - 3 Battle Born lithium batteries - Victron MultiPlus 3000 inverter charger Here were our weight results from the CAT scale: photos.app.goo.gl/e2mXk6LoYcfYJYby6 STEER AXLE 3440 LB DRIVE AXLE 3980 LB TRAILER AXLE 4560 LB GROSS 11980 LB Hope that helps!
