Jay was absolutely correct about fear and reality of losing community. i didn't come out as trans until i was 26. i was from a small southern town. did a contract in the army. all my friends and family were homophobic/transphobic conservatives. i lost everyone. im 30 now and live in the PNW. i have a good career(tech, yall read my mtf ass lol). i have one friend and a few acquaintances. starting life over from zero was indescribably difficult. I loved my mom so much. I used to text her and call her all the time. when I was in high school I would leave school and go see her at work or bring her flowers. I had such deep connections with so many people. all severed because I wanted to be pretty. losing a mom like that, who i was so close with, is cosmically devastating.

@momomac376017 күн бұрын
I'm so sorry this happened to you. It is entirely HER LOSS. IDC IDC IDC who and how my child reinvents their identity to be more authentic someday, no stranger and their hatred and malice can separate me from the love I already have for the very idea of them. You sound like a wonderful daughter. It is sincerely her loss!!!!! To new loves and friends in the future we don't know yet but once they're in our lives, we won't know how we went on without them. Hope you make many new friends and maybe even loves in 2025!!
@barmhjertige110 күн бұрын
I’m so sorry. It’s all of their losses. Idk if they said the «cause you want to be pretty» or if that’s how you feel, but I hope you know that it wasn’t cause you wanted to be pretty, you wanted to be you. Shame on all of them. (But also I am sure you’re pretty and gorgeous asf)

The last two episodes have been a great way to end 2024 and start 2025.

I never knew how to explain it and my friends have always given me shit about just nodding along to comedy shows while they're all dying but I think that's it. The starting bar is a hurdle but once you get that first laugh out of me I'm all giggles straight through. Punchline, set up, tangent? I'm dead. But even if you don't clear that point, I'll still enjoy it. My enjoyment will just be nods and the occasional

Liberal professional here. Unlimited PTO is typically subject to approval. Also, employer provided health insurance does cost a monthly premium and increasingly costs more and covers less. You would also be surprised at how much employers encroach on employees to extract concessions and freebies.
