They make ground anchors for off road vehicles that can take a lot of pull before breaking loose but getting them firmly planted in the earth is no easy feat. Some sort of explosive deployed ground anchors might be feasible but they’d likely be pretty dangerous to use, especially on a harder or rocky surface. It’d be better than getting tossed around in a tornado though. 🌬

Actually, Sean Casey built the first vehicle for surviving tornado encounters. He called it the TIV...Tornado Intercept Vehicle, he built it for capturing IMAX footage for his movie ‘Tornado Alley’. I admire Reed immensely, but Sean gets the credit for the genesis of the Dominator.
@WeatherxCalipha3 жыл бұрын
Sean doesn't get credit for anything- the only similarities between the vehicles are the fact that they're aerodynamically armored and engineered to be resistant against Tornadic-winds- how they accomplish said design and how they function is completely different.

well, Sean was the first one to use the hydraulic spikes, and he did build the first TIV before the dominator

@Recon-WallBanger3 жыл бұрын
@@WeatherxCalipha C.T, you don't understand why Sean deserves credit. Sean deserves credit because he created the idea of an armored vehicle, and inspired many to follow in his footsteps. Tiv2 has multilayer,more fame, older, 0/250, or even 275, more intercepts, spikes go 5 to 6 deep underground, can stand 250 mph (when tivs side is facing twards wind so it doesnt topple) ,and dominator 3 cant go to 250 mph, it goes at 200 to 220, and tiv 2 takes about 20 to 30 seconds to deploy, but its made for when the tornado comes to them, which means it has a very big chance of surviving 300 MPH, And yes it does have 4wd, and has better readings because Tiv2 is built for intense tornadoes, and dom 3 is mostly made for photographs, Overall Tiv2 will definitely win.

This was a hoot to watch! Jay , you are so funny ! Glad you're feeling better too! As I also saw the interview you did with Gayle King. Seriously, you look fantastic! Yay God! 🙏 This video came up in my feed just now. Dr Reed is down South. Been watching he and Ryan Hall quite a bit today. I'm kinda of a newbie. The Dominators are supposed to be road ready by spring, I've heard. Beastly looking things huh ? Like Sci Fi! 😂🤭 I didn't realize that you had a channel here. Nice to know. Brightest Blessings to You and Your Family this Holiday Season! ☺️✌️❤️🦋🙏

The truck did more dominating in this parking lot than it’s ever done in real life

Pure Hollywood. Great fun. Storm chaser wanted O’s...the retired comedian in the biker jacket could’ve cared less. I don’t know what was better about the runway joke...the fact that they didn’t damage it, or the fact that the section they were parked on was already heavily damaged😂 so much fun! Thank you!

Cupholders are necessary to dominate. One needs to sip coffee/soda/tea while in the middle of tornadic activity.

Covid permitting, you should do a 'making of' Video some time. And let us Foreigners see more of that lovely Countryside you drive around. Great entertainment.
