I watched a special one about Jay's collection where they talked about his garage being fully staffed with several mechanics and a shop foreman who said everything thing in there has to be ready to drive/ride at anytime, because you never knew when he would walk in and want to drive a particular one. I guess that explains the constant stream of battery tender cable through out the facility. Truly a real car guy👍

I want to know how he runs that operation. For example, does he pay the staff with money that spins off from investments every year? I know he has some car care products, maybe that pays the staff? Does he talk to them often and direct them, or does the foreman oversee most of the operations? It seems to run like a well-oiled machine and I'd love to see how he set it up. Honestly, there's so many fascinating things about his collection--the cars, the decor/art, the staffing, the acquisition of cars, the show, and on and on.

You should also mention that he drives all of his cars. IIRC Chris Harris stood with him in front of a random car and asked: "when was the last time you drove this?" and Leno told him to put his hand on the hood of the car, the engine was still warm. Many people are "collecting" (=taking off the road) drivers cars just to look at them or call it an "investment", the worst cases are those who buy 5-10 identical cars and ruin the market for true enthusiast because lightweight cars can't be built anymore, drivers cars should be driven as long as they are safe. Cars with special designs and luxury cars should be collected but not classic purpose built performance cars.

This film is car heaven and it's so lovely to know a guy loves his cars THIS much, he can walk around and show you around, but actually know enough background for each vehicle.
