It does seem like the older people get, the more they eat supper at six or six thirty and go to sleep earlier. I remember well over a decade ago asking one of my friends if they wanted to go dancing for New Year's and they told me they were going to sleep early at 9pm. Even in my 20s, my generation was already starting to act old. And, it's so true that most stress comes from relationships. That's why I don't even try to date anymore. Cats are the best kind of relationship.

I'm sure Bill has enough for everyone, but you're right that It is a bit strange when you actually think about it! I guess it's just a traditional part of the 'culture', and demonstrates the belief that it's something that's best when shared. It's also a substance where you tend to feel significant effects almost immediately, and unlike booze you sort of reach a 'plateau', so you don't really need the whole thing :). Sort of like you wouldn't share a single bottle of beer, but you DO almost always share a single bottle of vodka for shots... You've gotta be REAL hardcore to be drinking with someone, and both having your own 26oz bottle of JD! lol
