The conversation about not many of the younger generation creating brands, media etc is a really interesting one. I agree with a lot of what you all said, but I also have an additional thought- a lot of existing companies and media outlets came about during or immediately following the “dead” years. There are obviously exceptions, but S&M, Dig, Ride, Hoffman and Kink all come to mind. There was a niche that needed filling, and they filled it. Even t1 fits this bill IMO, despite coming around a few years later. My point though, is maybe younger heads feel like all those niches are filled, and to add anything else would be redundant?

I met Pato at The Cut on vacation to Barcelona a few months ago and it was so sick to talk with him. Immediately talked to me like we’d known each other for a while. He gave me some advice about getting around BCN and where certain spots were to check out. Stoked I was able to stop by the shop and check out Parallel and see some of the locals. I can’t wait to visit BCN again, it’s like heaven on earth.

1:40:00 I think being from the 30+ club obviously Project X is pretty on the nose and it's great. I think what is hard to explain to the younger crowd is that this is not just a pay wall video part like others that have dropped and this is a road trip with some of the best riders in a documentary style that allows for a peak into what some of their favorite riders are like on a personal level. If you are cool with buying a burrito from Chipotle and don't blink and eye then do the same with Project X and support the thing you love! It's only $10 and well worth it not to mention it's longer than Road Fools at almost 2 hours!

The Set was rad. So was this episode.. so far I'm hearing about some tunes from TV. Sick! My only complaint is weak but I'm just curious why the one ice pick Nathan did on this crazy hubba/ rail was not refilmed as it almost looks like a feeble grind.. 48:35 just curious cuz I feel like that has to be super crazier than it already looks for him not to really lace one in where it's not questionable because both tricks are awesome on that ledge obviously but the ice is way sicker in my opinion. Just wondering if you got kicked out or if it was just filmed weird or maybe I'm just kooked and Bmx has finally broken my brain..

I did have a question for the Kink guys what happened to Dan Coller? I miss that dude on Kink.

Dan decided to suddenly move on from Pro BMX Riding a few years back, and just ride for fun. Some good times were had though!

I like how you tried to save your d bag comment Dr the end. Wow you’re insufferable. I can see the damages done to your head. You’re a nobody. Nathan Williams is a god you’re right. Never even heard of you. Fool

‘Finally doing my trick from 18 years ago’. Omg you’re living so far in the past. You’re mad about something from 20 years ago? And you didn’t even say what the trick was. Man you’re so cool. Thanks for the free comedy bud

There aren't young people creating brands because they're not needed right now. There are almost too many bike brands and 99% are dope. Most rider owned brands around now were born in rebellion of the shitty, corporate brands of the 80s and 90s, and they're still doing good.
