A good deal of the Top End System..would require a considerable rebuild/ addition to your house..everything from a proper decoupling of the room , power…ect . So add another 200k to the price…

With all due respect. I paid in the UK for 2 separate dedicated power lines 20amp breakers to my system roughly £300/$400. Yes I can't take them with me but. I could move 100 times plus and have them redone in the new property and it still wouldn't be the cost of the Stromtank. That's not having a go at the Stromtank btw just saying.

3,000 watts is about the wattage provided by the 30 amp home outlet. And the power company already reguates the 60 hz. So all this does is duplicates what is already in the house. Better to just use the outlet for an electric stove. You are lucky few audiophile know anything about electricity than a few catchwords. Same with very thick power wires, but are plugged into 20 amp or 30 amp home wiring, which use 14 or 10 gauge wiring - so the very thick wiring, such as 4 gauge wire is totally wasted when used with such outlets. This is a con based on ignorance, resulting in a total waste of money. Jay knows worse than nothing. An example of "you think education is expensive, try ignorance. By the way, I have an electronics degree and I was the person who commissioned Bob Carver to build the world's first "super amp", a monster tube amp with over 400 watts rms/channel in November, 1966. This amp was revolutionary - the next most powerful amp was the McIntosh 275, with 75 watts rms/ channel and was the basis for Bob Carver's Phase Linear 700, in 1970, and which was tested by the Macintosh Clinic and by Hirsch-Houk Laboratory, resulting in a revolution in audio amplifier power. Bob is now retire and we meet for lunch on a weekly basis. We live in the Seattle area. The audio world is full of BS, relying on the ignorance of audio enthusiasts to lighten their wallets..
