Jay Slater: Body Found in Tenerife Believed to Be Missing Teenager

Spanish Police say a post-mortem will likely take place today on a body believed to be that of missing British teenager Jay Slater.
Remains were discovered yesterday in a 'remote and inaccessible area' near the village of Masca in Tenerife, close to where Jay was last seen and near to where his phone was last picked up by a mast.

I'm sorry for him and his family but it seems he did one bad decision after another. First he drank and took drugs for days, then instead of going home with his friends he decided to stay alone at the party and then drive away with two guys he doesn't know to a far away area he doesn't know. Instead take a nap and waiting for the guys to drive him home after they got enough sleep he went by his own without any food or water. Instead waiting two hours for the bus he began to take a walk that takes 10 hours by foot just to walk in the wrong direction uphill and finally when he recognize he went in the wrong direction he decided to go offroad into very dangerous terrain. After he knew he was in danger he call out for help but move on instead stay where he was and wait for the rescue. After that he manage to fall to his dead. I'm sorry but he must been an extreme dumb dude.

Was he dealing drugs? How much did he take? Off his head? Was it a deal gone wrong? Did he arrange the deal prior to partying? Was he exchanging a Rolex for drugs? Were inmates in on it?; preplanned revenge for his past actions? Did they find money and drugs on the body? Was he stabbed and too high to know it? He was lone when he lost his footing..no one need push him. Remember kids don't deal drugs, take em once in a while. Don't get into a car with strangers especially when high and in foreign lands.

It’s a case of bad decision making gone horribly wrong, once he went off road and into that terrain with the drops there were even and a big if even he survived the fall the chance of help coming was next to impossible. He would have had no phone battery left, no water, no food, he would have died of not instantly after the fall very quickly in the heat and conditions there. The tough thing is he probably thought the way to the ocean was easier than it was once he was in it and got the the gorge rocky area and steep drop offs he likely tried to climb down the cliff face slipped and that was it. Rip
