Probably had been on a come-down after being at the festival. He went back with a couple of guys to their place and probably had a few intimate hours with then. Then slightly disoriented he wanted to go back to where he'd been staying. Potentially quite dangerous in an unfamiliar environment because if he was still coming down from being high then he could easily have stumbled due to physical instability. Tragically he'd decided to leave the guys' place on his own and this happened a relatively short time afterwards. It's just a shame he hadn't been able to charge his phone at their place.

A tragic outcome, but I always think that in 99% out of a 100 cases, that if someone goes missing for more than 2-3 days especially in terrain like that, then it's no longer a missing persons case, but becomes looking for a body.

The decay process starts almost immediately, I have a relative who was found dead after 3 days and they have already started to decay significantly. We were fortunate to have found them in time otherwise it wasn't far from being a closed casket.

Sorry for the loss, poor kid must have been thirsty and tired as a result misjudged a move in the wild. Ended up slipping and falling to his death 😢, I presume he wanted to get down from the mountain as he knew it was dangerous to be up there knowing you could fall.
