This season of Rhythm + Flow was a message to the people. The message is that you should like dumb down mumble rap and female rappers like Latto. Its message is that skill and musicianship are no longer what gets you a shot. When they picked Detroit Diamond over Tia P, I knew what they were on and knew Jay Taj wasn't going to take it. My wife has had Tia P. on repeat, and I have had Jay Taj on repeat for the past few days. Dre was great for TV and enjoyed his moments but they were not moments of greatness. Dre had a major producer walk out on him, that alone should tell you hes not the one. Thankful for them showcasing the real talent Jay Taj and Tia P. who I support now.

BY FCKN FAR the best moment of Season 2 and without a doubt the should've won. The judges were terrible this year and while the Surah Ali moment was a terrible look for her and not how you should handle yourself, ended up having some truth to her statement... I like DreTL, seems like a good kid and human & I feel for him and what he has had to endure, BUT that being said, bro has a LOT of work to do to get anywhere near Jay Taj's level. I know this 5 second attention span, Gen Z generation likes that mumble rap garbage, but bro barely cuts it at times and cant even stay in rythym or on beat, his best moment was his Collab with Josh, outside of that, if you compare the progress and body of work throughout, its NOT EVEN CLOSE.

How does a show about rappers only have one true rapper as a judge? Not to discredit the judges too much, but Luda is the only real rapper there. Glorila and Latto are both new and haven’t had a proven track record yet, and DJ khaled is a producer. Luda is only one there who knows about how to actually write bars, hit records, hooks, fast flows, multis, club records, stories, etc. as he has done for decades in this shit. Last season Cardi, chance and T.I. had all proven that they can rap and pen dope verses and hit records, so it made sense why they were more critical of performances and picked two dope finalists. Jay Taj deserved the W, if this was a panel of actual rappers he would’ve taken this easy.
