I remember that jam I got it in the mail from my DJ mailing list. It came in a 12inch Lp the lable was all black the cover was red and it said Profile I was like L.L. Cool J, Run DMC, and Dj Quick is on that lable I put in on the Tech 1200's and that Kick and snare just blew me away, I started playing that at every house Party in Phoenix, Az then 3 weeks later The song made the local radio station and that shit just blew up and was on every hour on the hour dope bro lol take care bro

2023 & literally Sippin' a Purple Chongo as I watched this! Had Back to The Hotel bumpin' on the JL Audio driven Kicker 12" Solobarik's on the way home tonight in my old dude Subaru SUV (hahaha) rattling the windows and decided drink of choice tonight would be Purple Chongo's. Damn they go down smooth! Thanks for the great track, the last 30 years of bumpin' it, and all the memories of when I was just 21 bumpin' it in my 92 Mustang LX 5.0!

I was in the street racing scene in Boston, Ma. When my blown and juiced notchback LX 5.0L (11.7@124mph in the 1320) my goto tune was Back to the Hotel. Everyone knew it was me coming. Lynn Marsh crew ‘88-94. Alpine 7390, ADS seperates and plates, Soundstream active crossover, Alpine 3528, JBL, SAS Tubes 10”. Good times. To this day the song takes me right back. I have to go get some ingredients for purple chongas.

Yet another white rap group out before Eminem, as a man from Jamaica Queens NYC who has been a die hard rap music fan and part of Hip Hop culture are a great writer, I rember a ton of white folks that at least had a record out before Em, the only ones on his level though was 3rd Bass, till this day their two albums are in. The top 25 rap albums of all time on my list and many including Eminem and RA the rugged man is lyrical as he as can rap as fast and clear as him etc always been respected and loved in yhe culture.
