I have a lot of criticism for Jay Z but I actually don’t think that he did this. The timing, the Trump connection of the lawyer, the dishonesty and lack of character of the lawyer, and of course he could be faking this part because he has so much to lose but Jay Z’s reaction is like that of an angry innocent man. It feels unwise to think that Jay didn’t at least know what the men around him was doing if he wasn’t an active participant himself. Any other time I would suspect he’d paid people like the dad of the victimized woman/girl off. I hate to be in the company of the type of male shouting “they’re just trying to tear down another black man!”🙄 But my intuition still leans towards him being authentically innocent of this particular crime.
