I love jayz's quick witted humor, especially when Tim Westwood was like "...The Game..." "I like the game...I've been dominating the game forever..." (twt: jayzclassicbars)

Damn. Pretty much annihilated Game in this interview. "Tell Groupie to get over it", then you can hear the other guy in the background calling him "Stan" as well. The worst part about it is that it's true that Game is a Jay groupie/Stan.

@dennywyely8145
@dennywyely8145 8 жыл бұрын
If that true The Game ain't one of them. An the Nas thing was personal, they didn't have a problem until Jay started fucking Carmen. I doubt Jay has had an actual issue with anyone else besides Un. Plus Jay did respond to both Wayne and Drake, and they both were hotter than him at the time so you made no sense there...
@hnb2784
@hnb2784 8 жыл бұрын
Denny Wyely He barely respond to people. 50 Cent dissed him. He says nothing, Game dissed him, he says nothing. When beanie dissed him, he kept quiet. Whenever he feels like he's not gonna win this one he stays quiet. And Nas was personal. And you see the result, he got murdered
@dennywyely8145
@dennywyely8145 8 жыл бұрын
HNB18 Well that depends on how you look at it. Jay-Z got bigger after ether, Nas career went in the opposite direction. Jay-Z eventually signed Nas to Def Jam and became his boss, Jay got top from Nas baby moms and she wrote about how big his dick was in her book, Jay-Z is worth over 600 mill, how much is Nas worth? Jay-Z is one of the most famous people in the world, he didn't get that way till after ether. Ps 50 and Game diss every one, they try to sell their albums based on having beef, which got played out, and 50 fell off because of it
@hnb2784
@hnb2784 8 жыл бұрын
Denny Wyely 50 Actually dissed Jay because he dissed him. And you can have all the money in the world. But nas still kiled Jay z with ether. And Nas will forever be a better mc than Jay z. We aint talking bussiness, but skills on the mic. I dont care how big jay's dick is, or how much money he got. Dont get me wrong i admire Jay for the mc he is, the fact he put young black men on. And for the succes he has. But on wax Nas murdered him
@dennywyely8145
@dennywyely8145 8 жыл бұрын
HNB18 Again that's a matter of opinion, and if he was "killed" why did he become more successful afterwards? 50 killed Ja, TI killed Flip because they had no career after, the opposite happened to Hov, and personally I like the Takeovers facts better than ethers 3rd grade insults.

Thats why Reasonable Doubt didnt go plat til '02 and it was released in '96, because it got him sooo much attention that they didnt want to buy it. In fact to date i think that it has only sold like 2.6 million copies. Doubt was released when Jay was 26 (turning 27 that december). Pac died at 25, he became the greatest and was killed before Jay was even relevant.

Pac was forced to write "I Get Around", he was enslaved to Suge Knight, along with so many others on Death Row Records. Even then, Pac gave us variety. Has Jay ever written one song about the people? "School of Hard Knocks"? LOL IDK man, I just can't get how you place Pac's talent below Jay's. But I still respect you as an individual who has their own mind. Jay doesn't have to sell records anymore. He sells Jay-Z. Get it? His image is sparkly like a diamond, he glistens. He could shit on a microphone and people would still listen. "Wouldn't it be perfectly great, to murder Drake? Wrap 'em in a curtain drape, then submerge 'em in a lake?" Again, not my best rhyme but I'm not gonna give away my best on here, Im far from an idiot. But the point is, I have 8 rhyming words as opposed to two, plus I have shock value in there.

Nobody in their whole rap career accomplished what Jay has making him a living legend. It's like when Michael Jackson broke barriers and became a pop icon. Jay is now that icon, but no longer a messily average signed rapper. Jay never in his life was signed to a label, and made it to the top.

Heres a "simple rhyme" of mine: "When I speak this, people become speechless. Pinpoint weaknesses then beat 'em senseless with these endless speeches." Now, this isn't the greatest rhyme. It doesn't have shock value, it doesn't have a good pun. However, the ear is dedicated to a couple sounds with very little "filler", plus it has sub-rhymes within. Either way, it's not simple ramblings with only two rhyming words. Jay has the image, he even has the delivery, but it lacks substance.

Ever since Ether Jay has been very reluctant to respond to anybody because he lived through losing that battle and it didn't destroy his career, but he doesn't want to test fate twice. Honestly he could lose battles all day and still have all those albums and be considered a legend by most everyone in hip-hop. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't respond because he doesn't want to put his career in jeopardy, sometimes it's because he knows he'll get bodied because he's the dude with everything to lose, and other times it's just cause he's mad selfish and doesn't want to see anyone else shine which is some nonsense. The fact that he responds to no one these days though is a punk move on his part, people constantly test him, established people and he chooses not to respond because he thinks he's the GOAT, he's not by a lot of people's standards. If he went at Game though Game would absolutely bury him, he does not play that shit on diss tracks and a good deal of Jay's best lines are from other MC's. I would love to see them go at it though even now.

LOL, I disagree with you on what you say about Pac and Jay completely. Jay doesn't rap with heart, Pac did. Jay's raps are weak, and it's indicated in this verse. Pac wasn't perfect, but I wouldn't call him a "hypocrite". He did alot for the community with various programs designed to elevate the poor and encourage youth. His passion was reflected in his rhymes. The 90s was a different time for MCs, and the gangsta culture was at the center of it, so yea, things got wild.

First, Jay Z is a CO-Founder for Roc-A-Fella records, which since his split with Dame Dash has been shut down, he is now the President for Def Jam Records but still answers to the CEO, Shareholders and consumers who are ultimately his BOSS. We dont buy his music he wont make any more after some time. Period.... Now as for the whole illuminati thing: Whether Jay is a member or not doesn't matter, what matters is the truth, that IF he is he is merely a pawn.

Its a different generation. Peole arent gonna age like they used to. LL Cool J is mature for a 41 year old rap star. Its sumthin about rap that can make a nigga feel fresh no matter how old they get. But like I've said before and other people are saying now. Hip hop is growing and rappers are becoming older. Look at the dancehall community. Sean Paul is like 36 or 37. Beanie Man is like 35. But dancehall is still dancehall no mater how old the artist is. Thats the direction hip hop is going.
