I still don’t know why blizzard didn’t just revert the changes to hog. They buffed him with the damage and nerfed him with the lower ammo count and slower fire rate. Then they took away the buff but left the nerfs. Then buffed him slightly with the closer pull.

Real talk, Torb is the most underrated hero in the game. To me, he's like Orisa was to tanks before role lock. People called her the worst tank in the game, wanted bongo reworked, failing to see the potential in just how many different things she could do. Torb, to me, is that but for DPS. He has armor, which is always strong, a no-falloff projectile that can contest long range heroes if you know how to use it, a shotgun that does as much damage per shot as Reaper's while also having a much tighter and much more consistent spread pattern. He can temporarily buff his own health, speed and fire rate. His turret is a 7th damage source on the field that can provide scouting for flankers and, honestly Torb is a very underrated flanker counter imo. And then his ult is the best anti-stall ultimate in the game, and a fantastic zoning ult. 2 CP attack, molten core their doors and splatter a bit of extra on the point and they are going to have a real bad time trying to retake. Torb covers so many different things and is only held back by his large head hitbox and his pre-rework reputation. One day, people are going to wake up to his potential just like they did with Orisa.

Don't forget Orisa has been buffed more since her release than probably any hero in the game. People push this narrative of her being downplayed before role lock when she was a mandatory pick, in reality she just got a ton of buffs.

@@libertyprime9307 She got buffed countless times during Goats, yes, but was still overlooked despite it all. And most buffs clearly shone as unecessary after. They dialed back most of them and she was still strong. Her biggest strengths that persisted were not the aspects that had been buffed. It was things like halt, which she had always had. Bongo, one of the highest fight winrate ults, which was considered bad before for some reason. It was the damage resistance of fortify. The buffs she had gotten were pretty much all buffs to her damage, firerate and lower cooldowns.

here's my suggested buff: he has an ability that lets him walk on his legs and get the fuck out of dodge. like when you think about it he really is the only support that has no escape - he can't stun or debuff or just fly away or speed away or jump up. only half kidding :p but seriously maybe a third orb would be kind of cool. i dont know what it could be called but maybe an orb that when placed on the enemy it lowers their damage output by some percent kind of neutering them for a little bit.

Hey I have a small recommendation for the next tier list.. Could you guys put the names of the characters on the portrait and make the screen bigger so brand new players like me can know exactly who you're talking about. Also having the chat name that you're reviewing somewhere on the screen so players can easily timestamp and fly through the video for specific characters they want to know about. I know this requires a bit of editing but it's something I think almost everyone would appreciate!

Nah the problem with Zen is that he needs more sustain, not healing. With Ana she has a small hitbox, can heal herself during a fight, and has a sleep dart to stun enemies and get away. With Zen he has a massive hitbox, has only damage to protect himself, and literally has to be out of battle to regenerate his health. The buffs I suggest for Zen is: • Increase shield health from 150 to 200 • Give Zen a passive that whenever he’s healing someone, he heals himself for 20 per second • Reduce Zen’s time it takes to start regenerating his health from 2 seconds to 0.5 second I don’t want Zen to become unkillable, I just want him to have a little sustain so he’s always not a free kill for divers and flankers.

I feel like so many hate on Zen because if you don't spend a good amount of time figuring out his survivability tactics and just how to play him effectively, he can be considered a low tier hero. His healing is slow, yeah, but he can heal from farther distances than most healers. Zen has amazing damage potential, and in order to keep him balanced, they needed a big downside, ie; his low health. He's a squish. So when others say that he's trash, they're not completely wrong. He's trash in the wrong situations like against a good DPS like soldier and for Zen more than others, Sombra. That's why, as a squish with low maneuverability, he must stay with his team like any other healer. He a situational hero, he's good in some situations and absolutely terrible in others. Over all, I would put him high C or low B. Keep in mind I haven't played Overwatch since early 2019 so things may have changed and if so, alert me

Right on. I think Lúcio is great because everyone else has been nerfed to his level. On console, Junkrat is really really strong. Sometimes it seems if he gets a direct hit, you're done. When S-tier has people who require you to get close, this creates a little bit of a problem, at least for me.

because lucio moira sombra reaper specifically are played together and its the most used team comp in 4000+. lucio moira has the same healing as an ana spamming left click on someone except they can heal 6 people at once and ana can heal one, you literally just walk in and shoot and they cant kill you, sombra hacks any counter someone has against them.

No lie all you have to do is SEE what's happening and PREDICT what's going to happen IF their looking at you, with you as Bastion. And it's a win. I predict most of what's going to happen to me and I get out of turret form and live and it actually works. i think Sym is B at most. She still has good damage output, even with the nerf to full orbs, and her TP buff definitely makes it easier to set up huge flanks. There are sym onetricks like Stevooo, and a few really talented ones on console, that can make her work on about any map

As far as i know stevo doesn't play atm, symm has a kit with a lot of potential and she's really good at zoning and coordinated pushes. She just is so hard to keep up and had her beam nerfed against armor on top of the orb nerf. While snipers are as good as they are atm there's not much she can do.

I actually disagree with you putting Moria above ana and mercy. I think ana is a more reliable healer then Moria and mercy as well as I think with ana and mercy right now you can slot in any team comp and still be amazing while moira is still strong but I don’t think she is a must pick or as reliable as the other 2 main healers.

Moira can heal multiple people and through bubbles. Also coalescence almost every fight as an initiation tool. Ana is good if the enemy team is slower paced but if the enemy runs dive Ana will have a hard time barring some insane sleep and cooldown management for the next hero coming after you (because it WONT BE JUST WINSTON). With all that being said, Moira and Lucio sheer survivability and ability to heal past shields easily make them S tier.

But it’s a tad difficult to get value with sometimes because of the erratic gameplay of Overwatch you might be juggled and attacked by like 10 things with no escape. Due to his kit if he is viable he is really annoying as he will oneshot everything. He is very black or white. It's a design issue not a balance one. As much as I hate to say this as a doom main he needs a rework so he can be viable but not OP.

He'll be fine if they revert the uppercut 0.35 second nerf, that will bring back the lethality he had and make him feel less clunky, as it is right now he is no match to flying characters like echo and pharah since he just floats in the air when he uppercuts, waiting to get hit. They should revert slam range to 20m, but reduce punch damage in exchange capping it at 200. A skilled doomfist will still be able to one shot a 250hp target if he follows up with a well timed and aimed handcannon shot at the target.

Well yeah, because certain characters are weak by themselves but strong as a team, whereas solo characters tend to be weaker in teams because they offer very little sometimes. Hog would be immediate S, but because you can’t build around a good hog and hog is a bad off tank.

@@AbsoluteWarlord1 the meta isnt dive its still hog ana ball and something but those are the best 3 heroes in the game imo if you play them right Hog is the most picked hero at gm and t500 and is pretty easy for the value you can get with him Ana is and has been the best support for 3 months in ranked bc she can carry the hardest out of any support and is never obsolete in a healthy meta Ball is probably the best hero in the game if you can commit to mastering him and reach his peaks, best mobility and sustain in the game, hard to kill, high burst damage equivalent to sigmas rock and hypersphere combo, best hero to distract and make space that way, effective ult, etc honestly ball is a diamond in the rough character if you can play him

I’m happy that they put my Reapy boi so high! Delete Torb from the game if it’s not his turret it’s himself that’s a problem. Once he presses overload no matter who I’m playing and no matter how many shots I hit he always survives barely, unless he is getting shot by some of your team. His gun seems stronger than Reaper’s

I'd put Reaper at a solid A, maybe B. He's a great character when he has someone to watch his health, but I find myself having issues keeping health up. Yes, he counters a lot of characters at the higher brackets, but gold/silver its very hard for him to be consistent. Doesn't help that his healing doesn't seem to be consistent. People say that it is, but I've gone into a fight with -100 health and got the jump on someone headshotting them a couple times, only to heal maybe 30-40 health, as the spread counts the body shots as healing instead of the headshot.

Honestly i think this is how they should rework widow, remove poison make heat vision a 3 second long ability every 40 seconds, widow is now 3 full charges and 2 headshots (lower her base damage and maybe headshot multiplier if they have to) but her ult lets her shoot through shields and can kill with headshot with 1 second scope charge time(original headshot multiplier or maybe even higher just to make her ult seem more impactful), also make her ult faster to charge up

In terms of ladder play, Dva was actually considered a pretty bad pick up until recently. This is the first time in over a year that she's seen a resurgence of play (not including the pro scene where she would get niche play), due to the meta shifting from Bunker comps, to Double Shield, then after the shield nerfs, people shifted to Hog/Zarya meta. Only recently Zarya/Winston have gained popularity, allowing dive to come back a little bit.
