I can change ur opinion if u r not in denial 👍 Same situation happened with miguel in S1 because of Robby and sam…but he won the tournament while being distracted by sam…but when it happened with robby he losses every fight …losing one fight is ok but he was losing every fight until miguel locked him in….if u think the same now then I’ve one more thing In S6 miguel had college thing going on in his head from the start..and robby was upset due to tory…in this case both was distracted …but then also miguel scored 2 points….so i don’t think robby is better when miguel showed mercy on him twice S2 and S5❤

There's no way Mr. Miyagi would have agreed with the way Johnny was teaching them in this episode! I do agree that it's totally out of character for Robby to only be able to fight when he knows everything is OK with Tory,. Just like when he squared off against Miguel for the captain's spot and didn't score any points until Tory showed up. Robby's always been a loner so I don't see where the codependency is coming from!

It’s because they have their issues with one another and they can’t put issues on the side. Also miyagi do doesn’t really have that many offensive attacks they only counter. These other Dojos have it all. Daniel refuses to do offensive techniques. Like why hasn’t he showed them the crane kick , hasn’t showed them the pressure point move. He hasn’t showed them any offensive . They writer do Jonny hella dirty too and his offense hasn’t changed or we haven’t seen anything from him. It’s all played and old forms. These other dojos are too advanced.

Honestly, I think Sam is still a bit of a brat and a bit too cocky and way too comfortable speaking to others the way she does. Tori seems to have the biggest character arc on the show and if anything, Johnny should have always been the one to mentor Tori the most. I love the respect and admiration Devon has for Johnny, but I think Tori should be the closest to Johnny. I know Johnny has his personality problems too and he was too much into just bashing the kids, but he does have a point that Daniel seemed more interested about getting in touch with your feelings and let the kids have fun, rather than taking the tounament more seriously. I do not think any Sensei would've tolerated Sam's outburst. The irony is that actually goes to show how much Johnny has "grown" and sees those kids as more friends than just teacher-student. Not to mention, Johnny was right, in a way, that those students, all except Miguel, are not focused enough on winning. Johnny also never said (at least not here) his style was better. I think Sam's outburst in the locker rooms had a lot more subtext. If anything, Sam should know by now too Johnny's methods and ways are also needed since she specifically asked Johnny before to train her and it even helped her in a previous tournament. I will admit, that I am getting a bit tired of what seems to have become a formula in this show that Johnny loses his cool, gets humiliated, sees the errors of his ways and apologizes and submits to Daniel's way.
