Hector Navarro over on the Heroes Reforged KZbin channel thinks that the princess might actually be the Ultra-Humanite because James Gunn seems to be obsessed with gorillas in the DCU. I think it's a plausible theory.

I’m wondering if he’s setting up Gorilla Grodd to be the first big boss of the universe in chapter 1. Btw guys they nerfed Circe MASSIVELY in this one, she can still cast spells even with her hands tied or handcuffed. She's Doctor Fate level easily. I mean her being Wonder Woman main Supervillain and she draws her magic force from Hecate the Goddess of Magic herself would say everything. But I fukks with it, it made the story better because Comics Circe would obliterate the cast from episode 1 😂

It’s fine. Sometimes characters have specific hamstrings invented. Kryptonite for Superman was invented on the 1940s radio show to help with the actor’s needs to rest his voice.
