i play support and i say go ahead and ask for heals, sometimes we just dont notice right away unless it's pinged or asked for. just dont spam ask cause thats annoying and the support might be focusing on helping a higher priority teammate

I think tank is definitely the most miserable because most games become rock, paper, scissors. Or half the mobility tanks are countered by sombra hacking and running away. Or if you have a shield, the enemy team just goes bastion now Rein is useless.

As a support player, you can just ask for heals, but better to use heal ping also to confirm your location as save time for us to find you, but please, don't spam, so far I don't mind spamming as other hero, but as ana, if you spam the heal ping, I got distracted and have to look at you and then didn't manage to heal the priority and they have 50/50 chance of dying because you keep spamming and it hurts my ears so much

I legit did the maths and the average optimal dps for tank primary fire is just over 100. That is with shotguns being point blank. This doesnt involve abilities but tanks are designed to not be able to kill through peel. Dps have burst damage that can ignore that.

Dps are the least impactful on a macro level but on the micro they matter significantly as whichever team loses support first usually loses the team fight.

I'd argue that Hanzo, widow, Pharah, Mei, and Ashe are entirely capable of (temporarily)making dps the second most impactful role in any game. While I believe tank will always be most impactful, picks have always been the most important for winning a team fight. This is why we've heard consistent complaints over time regarding the one shot capabilities of various dps characters. These capabilities have been nerfed, but with skill it's still very strong, as for the others, they have powerful utility that works well with the team.

DPS are least impactful and weakest characters, but just buffing them won't solve the issues. Most (reasonable) tanks players are complaining not because they do too little damage, but because they are too easy to kill or gameplay is boring. Nothing is worse than zarya v zarya gameplay, orisa v orisa is also miserable, no matter how broken this character is. As for supports, right now they are just broken, but few months back playing support was really like playing dead by daylight. But not because supports were weak, it was because any other character on the team can have 2 support players savve them, while supports only have one other support to save them. Also supports bring greatest numbers (heal + damage) and way more utility than dps, so because of how valueable they are, eliminating them was always top priority, if as a dps you could trade your life for a support you were more than happy. And we had dive meta with winston, godfist, ball as well tracer and sombra going with them and no characters that could protect supports. They have added cassidy nade to somehow help with it but it is one of the most hated abilities in the game by all parties involved. As a queue for all roles player, I would say they should significantly nerf support damage and healing, making them less valuable on the map, and hence not always the top priority target. This would also stop them from dueling dps players, because it should not be a thing in a first place. As for backline protection big annoyance with OW1 was that tanks were being non stop CCed, how about adding back some CC, give cassidy his flash back etc. but make tanks both immune to CC and make their abilities block CC, so that abilities like flash were mostly effectiv e at protecting backline from dive.

Complaining about tank isnt about "tank role is weak", tank metas always exist. The strongest tank will be strong. The complaint is its the most, rock paper scissors role, the most difficult role, and arguably the most unfun role compared to others. You wanna play ashe all game? Go for it. You wanna play kiriko all game? Go for it. You wanna play winton all game? Nope. You got DVA (never gets nerfed), Reaper, a buffed Torb, and a buffed Bastion. You wanna play Rein all game? Nope. You got a buffed orisa, a buffed bastion, a buffed mei. Even if you play a meta tank, sometimes all you do is bait cooldowns and wait for your team to do it shit. Orisa? Yeah you do fucking nothing all game. Thats boring af to play. Jay thinks Orisa is "broken", and she was/is but that's not fun for tanks lmao. Yeah bro we love just cycling cooldowns never dying. Best gameplay. Even Ram is pretty fucking boring. You punch people and hold block. Cool game. Every other role gets more healthy updates and is "fun" to play. Tank was *more* fun in OW1 even if 1 tank is better for the game PS. I don't disagree with what he is saying about DPS, but it's still the second most chill/fun role to play after support. He says "TANKS do this that" but he really means "this one or 2 characters out of the 11 tanks that exist as metas only grant that for the role"... its a dog shit role bro. At least DPS can play a variety of playstyles/chars

16:00 (my opinion) I disagree with this logic, how boring would the game be if they just constantly nerfed every single character so that they are on par with the few weak ones. It would make playing these heroes just worse in every way and make you feel like you can’t really do anything because every character is so underpowered. Obviously nerf the heroes that are broken, but don’t nerf every single hero until they all feel useless. That’s how R6 Siege died, they nerfed the F out of each character until none of them felt special. Also buffing weak characters is awesome because if they are your favourite heroes, now you can actually use them without feeling like you’re throwing

Hey Jay im a console player on ps4 yesterday i got banned for the rest of current season cuz of a game bug i couldn’t pick any character and therefore got kicked due to inactivity after putting in a ticket they said that it is impossible to remove penalties from players since youre a big player in the community i thought you might make the devs aware of this problem i think i wont return after my ban because the devs really didnt care about my problem and all my friends that came with me are leaving the game aswell sad even thought i gave the game a second chance :/ well keep up with the content i love the 1v10 1v5 etc. Type of vids :)
