Best moment was the slow, "Genji can you..." and the Genji was already 2 kills into 3 or 4. GMs obviously operate easy quicker than bronze. Crazy for a bronze player to try to coach 5 during active fighting. Pretty fun to see, would be good as an ongoing thing with the same coaches. They'll get better at the most important thing, confidently coaching, and having the words to get their instructions across quickly

I think i have as trat that i would give them a set bunch of rules that they have to follow all game like telling the healers to heal primarily and then dps if no one needs it and place healing pilons when in a fight in a place where its somewhat protected if possible but if not just throw it down and for them to regroup if the fight is lost and to shatter when any shields go down and there are at least 3 people infront. That kind of rule set will basically just make them play normal until u tell a specific play
@sways-hyper8680 Жыл бұрын

@RealEllenDeGeneres Жыл бұрын
I've been saying this for ages, but I really want them to add a coach role to QP/Comp that would provide more advanced tools for guiding your team, calling things out and strategizing plays. Preferably tools that would allow you to do all of this without necessarily using a mic, but much more improved than the basic ping system that we have now. Like if you ping your tank to fall back to a certain position, maybe they have an actual directional UI element that really emphasizes for them to turn around and get to that position for example, rather than just yelling "fall back" like the current ping system does. These coach players would be pulled from a higher elo than whatever rank you're at in comp. So if I'm a Plat, then the coaches on either team would always be Diamond, Masters, or maybe even GM. I feel like this would improve the overall skill level of the community over time as they'd start to develop better habits and learn the game properly by having people higher level than them constantly giving them advice and correcting their bad positioning/plays. And for higher elo players who want to be coaches, it'd provide a new mountain to climb and be fulfilling to help the community.

Ah this is so much fun, for an added twist; I think someone else has said it already but you should get the coaches to be the people who believe they should be in said rank, and a discussion time at the end with the team to question some of the calls 😅 also less autonomy overall, should be stated at the beginning what they want each player in general to be doing or whatever the general instructions are, and no ults can be used until the coach says so
