Thought making notes here itself * Ambai - C.S Lakshmi * 1962 - published her first book "nandimalai charalae" * This play/story" Forest" is an morden style of writing and Sita(character/mythological character)in authors perspective. * It is also known for " Sitayanam like valmiki's Ramayanam it is known as Sita ayanam. Chenthiru is the Protagonist of the story and *Chenthiru's husband tirumalai her husband and who owns textile business * Annamalai brother of tirumalai * Both chenthiru and tirumalai had two children's (kaarmegam and valli) * chenthiru father (owns coffee estate) and mother (late) * Minabai, Rukminibai, Savithabai Mythological characters are: Sita ( protagonist), Janaka Raja(found Sita under the tree) Rama, kosalai , lakshman, Hanuman, Indiralakshmi, Ravanan, Mandodari(wife of ravanan) , Valmiki , lava, kusha I thought these are the main characters in this story... Also if you closely look the text or ma'am explanation she uses these (landscapes)forest world....like when you see Sita who came into being, in touch with flower earth and water Same way chenthiru who was born under the tree because her mother had pains. And when she walks into the forest " she enjoys the beauty of the forest, stream, dancing peacock * chenthiru compares tirumalai as a green mountain (when they first met ) * Sita who versed about the forest and great knowledge for mountains, springs ,pounds, lotus, trees,streams ,deer,bees etc...like all of these are landscapes (kurunji, mullai, marudam, neydhal, palai)...
