@@Liveon9710 Whatever, but her knowledge isn't enormous. She had literally no idea bout the success of British raj, our relations with Bangladesh and the problems and challenges we faced from our neighbours. She used the phrase "refugee crisis" while talking bout challenges in indo-bang relations without even knowing the exact definition of "refugee" and its significance in Indian context. Rather she should've pointed out the rise of fundamentalism, anti-India sentiments, political turmoil and China's involvement in the Chittagong as a part of string of pearl initiative. Even while defining BRI, she said it's going to connect China to other continents not countries extending from Beijing to Europe a replica of ancient silk route. It's an average interview mate, she cracked UPSC, good for her, but for me, this one is an average one. She should've mentioned how growth of mercantalism, capitalism, technolgical efficiency, flint guns, political chaos in the colonies and absence of nationalism paved the way for British success in India. It wasn't only bout east India company that Brits were able to rule over Indians, cuz India was colonized in various stages and each stage had its own significant role to play. For modern history, read Shekhar bandopadhyay with true enthusiasm. Those who study spectrum only could come up with such illogical answers.

She is very smart and intelligent, but she didn't answered very well in this mock interview... As she said she, she want to join IFS as she is very interested in international affairs,,,she should have known very well atleast the most important current international affairs... One thing i don't like about her is that,,, she want to choose France as her first posting,,,, but actually she didn't even know 5 cities name in France... However,,,,,,I'm very sure,,,she did well during the main interview + with the mains exam.... I feel like upsc interview is a debate interview and not a personal interview 😅....

Gorkha means people of gorkha kingdom origin. Citizen of Nepal , india. Once sikkim , darjeeling , uttarakhand, parts of Himachal, whole nepal was under gorkha kingdom at time of british gorkha kingdom war of 1815. Nepali means citizen of Nepal as existed as country with UNO recognisation in 1950s.

Its strange that she is AIR 52 but cant even explain how the britishers ruled half of the world ? Yesterday i saw AIR 1 Aditya srivastava's mock interview where he couldnt explain about Suryanamaskar and earthquake zones and gave a very vague layman explanation..2018 5th rank holder shrusti couldnt even give examples of recent schemes launched by the government for women with the interviewer even giving her hints 8th march do you remember but she couldnt recall anything..I am not judging them but only throwing light on the fact that people who think UPSC toppers know everything and that everything includes even basics then you are wrong..And i genuinely believe that luck plays a huge role in this exam in all the 3 phases. Who knows in the interview, they might have faced well prepared questions and not something out of the blue as in mock interviews ?

The questions which emphasized here which toppers failed to answer were not some rocket science questions..All were basic and every upsc aspirant should know questions..Infact, serious students preparing for ssc, banking, insurance etc will know the answers..For knowing How britishers ruled half of the world back then, meaning of Suryanamaskar, naming earthquake zones, recent schemes launched by government for women- do you need to be a Robot to answer these questions Mr nincompoop ? And didn't your parents taught you that butting in others conversation is a bad thing ? And that too with a stupid contradiction.
