Great performance. Everytime Ranjani and Gayatri transport me into a world that is ineffable in words. However one little doubt. When I heard the Rama Bhajan the raga felt more like a mixture of Miyan Ki Todi and Gurjari Todi rather than Lalit. Or is it that Carnatic music also has a Raga Lalith which has Panchamam and flat/ komal/Sudhha Gaandhaaram of Carnatic music in it ? Because in Hindustani music pure Raag Lalit has Shuddha and Teevra two Madhyams but no Pancham in it. Also the Gandhaar is Shuddha Gandhaar in Raag Lalit Hindustani Music, whereas the Bhajan has Komal Gandhaar in it as well as Pancham . ( Please note that the words Shuddha and Teevra have been used in the Hindustani Music context and not in the Carnatic music context).
