Visual effect - not competition this year, everything is spectacular.10/10 Combat system - great, 9/10, some boss hitbox is strange but it is minor issue. Game experience - great, 9/10, would be 10/10 if it is open world Storyline - 10/10,we have a lot of western mythology already. Journey to the West has Buddha + Taoism it is refreshing for me. If this game is not GOTY I will be disappointed.

I think the meaning of the true ending cutscene is that’s it’s all about the journey. That’s why you get it just when you don’t rush the game.

@@MansTooLit I mean last Saturday I just had a painful incident like my parents Finance problems not being able to buy stuff and enjoy the fun time and things PS you should play astrobots and just more stuff I finally reached out point where it was at 400% + 500% I started throwing my remote control trying to break my glass cologne bottles trying to break my beer in my bedroom it was just too much going on that I can process anymore the financial problems taxes and bills did this to me

1996 HK version was so good, it definitely took liberties here and there, but it was entertaining and truly captured the essence of Wukong.

Let's take a look... this game has: - "Bonfires" that respawn enemies - dodge - stamina - no difficulty settings - no health or mana regen - Weaker mobs can group up and can overwhelm you - there's no block - boss fights have patterns and bosses are difficult - you have light attacks and heavy's - there's long walk backs after dying in certain areas - You have a healing flask - flask, health, mana, and ability cooldowns reset after resting Don't get me wrong, I love my FromSoftware/Souls games, but if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, I don't think it's a cow. This is 100% a soulslike and the game devs lied to sell more copies lol

How do you even beat erlang? Been trying all day. No videos have really helped 3xcept to say equip this do that. I wonder if it's even possible....frustrated at this point....is too dam hard

It really bottles down to timing because he's an optional boss and I noticed optional bosses were way harder than main bosses. The way I did was the most optimal for me

50:29 😏 priceless ! I just watched a lore vidéo, by the Lorebrarians. It explains lots of things Like Nioh, it is "kinda" a souls like, but does its own twist (as many should learn to do, instead of copying DS2 clunky gameplay and calling it a day) There are so many WOW moments, now i dont know what i should play...

Yea, I agree it's more like Nioh when comparing it to a "soulslike" but I'm just being salty because I kept dying to these bosses lol You're right though, at least we don't fight the clunky gameplay while fighting difficult bosses. But yea Soul! So many amazing moments in this game, amazing cutscenes, and just a beautiful game all throughout. I'm tempted to do a NG+ run, but I know there will be a DLC sometime so maybe I should wait 🤔💭...

Ghosts wasn't a struggle on easy or the hardest setting, however, this game only has one difficulty, and I was getting clapped by multiple bosses. Trust me, I want to agree with you, but I can't lol EDIT: if this game didn't have a mana or stamina bar, then it wouldn't be a souls-like.
