I agree that korg should sign you because this sounds are work of art maybe is easy for you to make them but for me its very hard and i own a korg m3 a triton and a kronos 2 and its very hard time consuming and still havent learn how to make sounds like this. I recently heard the new combi's from the Krome Ex and now this video is recommended to me. Korg did a total overhaul on EDS sound engine everything much tighter and clear. Guess have to say goodbye to my MW1 microworkstation.

Just bought an ex display Kross 2. Already have the Microkorg S, and the Monolog, FL 12, and Akai MPK. Just need to know how to multitrack on the Kross, and away I go 👍 Your sounds are right up my street, and if i can get a slightly similar effect... Its all been worth it. Excellent video mate.

You can multitrack in both Combi and Seq mode. I'd prefer Combi when working with an external sequencer as it's easier to manage and store.

As stated in the video description each sound was recorded separately and mixed with drums from software. If you want to hear pure Kross 2 sound check out my videos for Tonitrus, Ice Breaker or the In This Place remake.

If you're ready to take compromises when it comes to insert effects you can indeed use them in live performances. I have a few videos with the Kross in multi-timbral mode, for both combinations and sequencer mode, and they almost exclusively use these sounds.

Hi! No. This ist not possible. You could combine drum sequencer and two arps but it wouldn't make a full accompaniment.

@@maciejlegowicz5834 Add compressors and eq to the tracks, get a couple of buses with master dynamics effect, and you will get the same level of mastering. But yea, of course it is not "raw" kross 2 sound. If you want premastered sound, get something like montage. Nevertheless, JayB is the best hardware trance artist who shares his work.

There I mess with that if I wanted to open the content of the icon with the right button to see on another page, it was not possible, but if you click normally on the icon the info is displayed, which because it contains few lines, is unnecessary and does not merit showing it on another page. And of course whenever I listen to your music I enjoy it as everyone I guess those who come into contact with your channel. Just for 2 days I am trying to create sounds for my KK2, using the Extreme Converter and the Awave, but in the first attempts the keys of the pianos that interested me were poorly mapped, today I chose to mark all the white notes in the EC and if now it maps OK, but the file .KSC ends up being about 50Mb. If you have any advice or guide that you can contribute, I will be grateful. Greetings. Yes, there are no additional samples needed. However, for the next updates you will need the sample upgrades from the Neon Kross in models. But I will provide them.

If you follow tutorials for Spire, Sylenth1, and similar VSTs, you can dupe most sounds for them in the FA. Remember that these are all subtractive synths and work alike. The "PCM engine" is better suited to most trance sounds on the FA, but the virtual analogue "SNS engine" is really great for bass and simpler leads, and a requirement for supersaw pads (you'll get JP8000-style supersaws).

Hi JayB . I would have one question. Is it possible to select reverb and delay separately in the sequencer? I found reverb and delay only in MFX 2. All IFX and MFX 1 is without this effect. it is illogical.

That's one of the limitations of the Kross 2. No reverb and delay simultaneously.

You can copy them in parameter by parameter, but the order of sound samples in the wave banks are different. Same names, but different order. Some samples are not as clean and Kross1 just doesn't sound as good as the Kross2. Kross2 is optimized in both circuitry and likely software (as one visible example is the USB Audio of the Kross2, despite both keyboards running the same ARM SoC).

In this demo everything is sequenced externally, means in the computer. However, I used preset and customs apreggiators within the Progs and Combis.
