This is a great video! I love fussy cutting but sometimes struggle and over think it. As silly as it may sound, I needed confirmation that it's okay not to get the entire print in my piece but what is most important to me. Thank you!!

Now on to the video of binding a quilt with triangle edges left on for a refresher.

Hummmmm I really like the black background , it frames the hexies. . I know the black probably is what you layed pieces on put another new quilt pattern idea. How could you achieve this look?Luv your videos they make me happy and I get so excited to get out to my sewing room in the barn. Which is hard right now with a foot of snow on the ground. See you next week lol

That's just my black cutting mat. That quilt pattern idea would be a whole new pattern that would take a couple of months to draft. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the video!

I can’t wait for my kit to come, since the pattern is with it! It looks like it hasn’t even shipped yet from the place I ordered it from. I do have some half yards coming today(I always buy extra yardage bundles of Tula prints 🙌🏻), so I might just have to start cutting hexies and triangles out before I even get my pattern.

@@jaybirdquilts I’ve enjoyed experimenting with fussy cutting in the Toes BOM, and I have some pieces from Tula’s older lines that I want to add into the mix. This is going to be a fun one!

@@jaybirdquilts I’m new to quilting and I’m looking for websites to buy cool fabrics. Will you share where you buy your fabrics?
@jaybirdquilts Жыл бұрын
@@Chellee-f5i Search "quilt shop near me" online, a local quilt shop is always a great place to start and a good resource for new quilters. Online I like Pink Door Fabrics, Fat Quarter Shop, Hawthorne Supply Co, Stash Fabrics, Elkhorn Quilt Co, Threaded Lines, and there are many others. Look for independent retailers.
