For years Em has consciously avoided starting beef and whatnot... He has said, in the past, he feels some type of way about messing up other artists careers. I think the shadow is two fold; both Slim Shady and a reference to The Venom Movie. With the way it comes out of the phone and tablet, it could be a reference to all the hate from the internet on his last album; bringing out the angry and "Shady" side of him. But watching the last scene where Shady Jumps in to Em's body and then jumps out the window; makes me think it's a reference to the alum title and song this songs title. You may think he's going full Kamikaze, jumping out that window and Falling down so far; like his last albums reviews. But, it was all that hate that gave Shady the strength to survive the fall and rise to the challenge... even if it means stepping on his own efforts and work he's done to not be that Evilness and Shady. Hence Shady using Em's work as a stepping stone...
