that is an amazing view. you're so fortunate to have been there to see that in person. it was a great idea to perform a song in front of that window. i love how when I drag the play bar across the video, you can see the clouds glide across the sky and the sun dip into the clouds. absolutely amazing. great song, too.

I think it's about a relationship that ended, all the pain and grief you go through when that happens and then trying to figure out who you are seperately instead of together. But, even through all that, you can't forget the impact that one person had/has on your life. "You were the one to lower my gun" = "You were the one I let(and will always let)my guard down for".
