I would be PISSED if I had to rebuild my Marvel figure collection in McFarlane's 7 inch scale. Who the hell could even afford to re-collect the entire Marvel Legends line again, from scratch?

Honestly Jada toys should get the license to make marvel figures, they've already done a good job with their Street fighter and Mega Man figures, those guys are fit for the job! I would rather not have Todd touch the Marvel license, that guy cheats you like barely giving you any accessories, the Nft junk and also The recent two pack with the Joker which is about $250 yeah how about no.

Dude, use your eyes and stop asking a guy who can barely read about things you can clearly see/deduce for yourself. It's the same terrible bodies from the first wave with new headsculpts and a paint job. It's clear as day in the pictures. And no, it's not just used for the mockups. Hasbro isn't going to sell you a vehicle with seven figures for $400 without taking shortcuts.

The Marvel license is such a money maker for Hasbro that while they stop making all other toy lines themselves & end other licenses (sorry ghostbusters fans) they would continue to only produce marvel products as it’s always been a guaranteed profit stream, which helped them recently through the eOne fiasco and it’s stock dipping. Big companies don’t just give that up regardless of how they operate their own brands. The only thing that could change that are those trump tariffs, but so many corporations that spend big lobbying money have come out against it, that it’s unlikely he goes through with it without major pushback from both parties.

I only need 2 or 3 marvel characters to finish those shelves so i dont really care who gets the license . I just heard that those tariffs wil raise prices on toys which will greatly speed my exit from toy collecting than i already planned . But what will happen to preoders that havent shipped ,will those prices change ?

Ive always wondered about McFarlane being a private company too. I imagine a large relationship like that (a whole hog Disney exclusive license) might want a shareholder-motivated company. An American company is probably prefered for Disney too.

I don't take financial advice (or any advice really) from a guy who thinks Robert Byrd was the bee's knees (hi Jay). If you're over the age of 18 and your primary concern in life is how expensive your toys are you are a loser. End of discussion. They're already overpriced and because most of you suffer from terminal FOMO your inability to wait six months stops you from waiting for a deal. Toss in a little TDS and now all of a sudden it's the tariffs fault an already dying industry is going to kick the bucket.

A scaled up and more experienced Spin Master or Jada will be fine taking over Marvel 1/12 licence. The thing is both are relatively tiny and inexperienced, so... realistically not happening. Mattell or McF will just be a disaster.
