I have worked in the "A" leagues of the entertainment industry for 45 years I'm retired now and I never had the pleasure of working with them. I think they are one of the best bands ever. their live performances are simply spectacular. Just look at the audiences. They are having a ball every song. That is a very rare thing! I will be in Miami next month and will miss their show by one day. Maybe I will get to see them someday. They make me dance every time I hear them. Keep dancing!!!!

To the 1,700 people who gave this performance a thumbs down, may I ask why? Raul has an absolutely incredible voice and Eddie and the other boys in the band are terrific musicians; each one of them! What I like the most about the Mavericks is that these guys ALWAYS look like they are having a great time at their concerts. The whole is more than the sum of it's parts here. The crowd picks up on this too. The only thing missing from this performance was the local Fire Chief, because these guys burned the place down that night! So, have some fun: turn it up, turn it up REAL LOUD and dance like Jerry Dale!

Raul has a beautiful voice 🎶 I've always enjoyed Raul & The Mavericks! This band has great singers (almost every member harmonizing) all great musicians. So many kinds of instruments! This band knows how to put on a show! Dancing around! I love it! Probably the best live band I've ever heard, and to top it off the show was free!! Believe it or not, the Mav's played for an audio industry trade show that was held in Nashville one year, and while that particular trade show had some awesome bands in years past (like Atlanta Rhythm Section one year in Raleigh...or was it Charlotte), this event was unbelievably good. The band played their songs of course, but the set list was also peppered with great and unexpected covers like, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", "Born on the Bayou" , "It's Not Unusual" and an AC-DC song I can't remember. It was just total magic.

I recently seen the Mavericks 12/04/16 outside of Boston in Lynn. Fantastic concert !!! After the concert I walked over to the stage as Raul was about to walk away and told him ''What a fantastic concert Raul' The part I'll never forget is he then turned around, walked over to me at the edge of the stage, knelt down, shook my hand and said...'Thank you' What a class act that man is !!! Plus a fantastic entertainer...

Michael Guerra on accordion....played with Raul when the Mavs were broken up and Raul was performing solo. Stayed with him when the Mavericks regrouped. He’s one of the younger “sidemen” that are with the band now. He’s amazing!

Michael is in the back on the right. The guy who came up on stage is Wayne Toups, I THINK. He has his own band that goes on the cruise. He's good. Michael is the young guy with the dark hat and white shirt that Jerry Dale is pointing at.
