While at Pontardawe Tech in the late fifties our sports teacher Bill Samuels (the man who got Gareth Edwards on the road to rugby stardom) told us all about Grindell Mathews, amazing story about an amazing inventor and man.

Lots of speculation about his cause of death as well as I understand it wasn’t very conclusive.
