Those jumps were nuts Jay. If you're casing them, they're going to destroy a mere mortal. When you did clear them though it looked awesome! 😎👍 Kade had no fear, he just sent it, big case but what an effort.

Can’t imagine how much of a battle it was. Props to you and the rest of the community for getting it done. One of the coolest spots I’ve experienced so far
@SkillsWithPhil7 ай бұрын
That jump at I street is massive, video does not do justice. I never hit it when I was there in part because it was super windy. Side note, if you have the option, you can try adding a few clicks of low speed compression to your rear shock (or set it to trail), that might be enough to prevent battery buzz on big compressions like that. I would not trail ride like that, but for Dirt jumps it helps.
@jaydalton7 ай бұрын
I need to fly you out for more suspension dialing 😂 I did at least put the shock in the firm / pedal mode and added like 50 psi. Completely forgot these things are so fancy that they have both low and high speed adjustments though. Will try next time 🫡
@_Jake.From.Statefarm_7 ай бұрын
@@jaydalton If you're bottoming out that easy you can add a volume spacer token so it ramps it at the end more too. They are ultra cheap and easy to take in and out depending on what you're riding. Spacer + HSC and you're golden!

If u ever come through central oregon youve gotta hit cline butte downhill, its a beautiful jumpline thats about the same size but way more curvy and scenic, not shuttleable anymore unfortunately cause a resort is building next to it but its freaking epic, not very well known at all anymore but way the shit about 10 years ago. Obviously mt bachelor and the phils trail/wanoga trail complexs are freaking insane aswell and the best known in oregon by far but if you want bmx style mtb jumps, cline is the epitimy of that

Dude mad props for smashing those jump lines. I went to check this place out yesterday for the first time and was blown away at how massive some of the lines are. Pretty wild. There are hundreds of jumps literally everywhere. It’s pretty rad what they’ve built in such a small plot of land. The place is not very big at all and they’ve managed to utilize the space really well. Jump lines literally everywhere. Very cool place. The fact that you just showed up and smashed most of the biggest lines is so dope. Video doesn’t do justice to how big some of these hits are. Btw, i also just wanted to say thank you for keeping the language clean in your videos. I think stuff like that is important. Especially because I’m sure you have a lot of youth and the younger generation watching your videos. I know that might seem kinda strange to hear but whatever. Im just a random person but I just wanted to tell you that i appreciate you always keepin it clean and the fact that you do doesn’t go unnoticed. 👊🏼 I’m sure I’m not the only person who’s noticed it.

Not sure if your shock has a "pedal" switch on it, but I put mine into pedal mode when hitting big flowy jumps. Just to add some compression dampening. Otherwise, I also blow through the travel pumping up a lip.

@jaydalton7 ай бұрын
I’m biased towards Cannondale but most companies make great bikes. If you want an all-rounder, the Jekyll I’m on is good for pedaling and for sending. Since you’re a BMX guy I would recommend sizing down. For example, I’m 6’ and the charts say I should be on a Large, but I prefer the Medium just because it’s more playful.

@Jay Dalton , for such jumps You should pump Your shock and for to have 10-15% sag and don't worry about blowing Your shock, the pressure inside during landing is WAAAY higher what Your pump can put in there. Also set up a slow rebound on the shock 3-5 clicks away from the slowest settings. For jump lines such setup makes it a lot nicer to jump especially if You a bmx rider ;)
