209 Aaron's Story 7th of July 2010

The Story of Aaron Livesy from Itv's soap opera Emmerdale.
Synopsis: Holly heads out to a club with Aaron and Jackson and while there, she bumps into Roz. She's quickly drawn back into the drugs as Roz offers her some cocaine and before she knows it, she's agreed to one line.
A wired Holly admits to Roz that she was having such a good time at the club that she had another line and a pill. Later, Roz panics when she finds her in the toilet in a complete state.
Roz rushes to find Aaron who goes to Holly's side. In the cubicle, Holly's panicking that her heart is beating too fast and worries that she can't breathe. Aaron carries Holly back to Smithy but will he keep her overdose a secret from John and Moira?

Its kind of funny that in the club scene Aaron is there with Jackson and Ros when in real life Danny goes out with the girl who plays Ros, Kirsty Porter and theyre still together today ;)

On the one hand, it was nice to see Adam and to see the three of them--Adam, Aaron, and Jackson--in one scene. I'd like to see the three of them together more. On the other hand, it was boring to see Holly, although I'm sorry for her that she equates common sense with being a robot. At least in a soap, our hero, Aaron in this case, can kick in doors by saying so.

@HigherC Thanks for mentioning Simon. Casting did a great job in finding the actor who played Simon. In case anyone has forgotten, Simon was the new, cute guy that Aaron was trusted to help get started with the community service. Instead of crazy Wayne, some of us would have preferred to have seen sweet Simon follow Aaron home on the bus. Unfortunately, it appears that Simon was a one-day wonder.

AMAZING storyline. I mean the Aarson one & AMAZING acting. Danny Miller = Goooorgeous! In my opinion he's one of the best actors ever & the best looking. I love him. Aaron & Jackson are great together. I wanted to see a goodnight peck too but I'll wait 'cause I know it'll all come lol

Having read the comments, I am amazed at the rather obvious divide over a kiss. On first viewing, I too was a bit surprised that at least a kiss on the cheek didn't happen. Then I watched it again, and I noticed something - they are COMFORTABLE with their relationship. Aaron invited and Jackson accepted to stay the night - without any major drama. Then I remembered they've had a night of passion, one of many to come. A kiss at this point is moot. How many husbands leave without a kiss?

I LOVE that this storyline isn't taking the typical romance route. Being a couple isn't all about kissing and having sex. It's about dealing with problems together and standing by your partner.

@kmcknight100 hopefully the romance isn't over. christian and oliver in early epiosdes went thu some time just supporting others but they still managed to have some tender moments so something is odd here I agree. . just have to wait and see.

Geez, It's not like we're asking for a Quickie in the Bathroom, but maybe SOME little sign of affection. Is a peck on the cheek and a look of disappointment too fast ? Jackson sure is patient...At this point I'd feel like a Booty Call. I don't think they touched each other at all for the whole episode, and their conversation, except for Jackson's few comments, didn't make them seem like they were dating at all. Aarons seemed more interested in Jackson before they had the "kiss" - now it's mates.

@skyemcleod1 We know we'll never see the two of them in bed. That's British TV at 7 PM. As for affection--public & private--I'm giving the writers a few more episodes. If they continue to use Aaron's discomfort or external events like Holly on drugs, I'll be joining the chorus of "We want more!"

I've just read some of the comments below and all i can say is what a lot of crap some of you are talking. I for one am loving this storyline, the way it'sput together between the both of them is brilliant, I for one am not the "stereotypical" gay guy, but a str8 gay guy who just so happens to like men, so seeing a couple of normal str8 gay guys protrayed on tv is a refreshing change to the usual gay relationships i have to stomach on tv. cont.........

@Jendall1 I would have been quite surprised if Aaron and Jackson kissed goodnight in front of her. Aaron still seems pretty guarded. I don't expect that much PDA from him. I am listening for signs of affection in their conversations. Jackson saying, "you'll be staying up all night . . . for all the wrong reasons." was nice to hear. At least we know they have an active sex life, even if we don't get to see it. I am sure it will come.

@Eowyneally I wasn't expecting them to snog each others faces off but surely a quick peck goodnight would be the norm? I like that Jackson didn't stay and didn't get pissed off about not being able to stay as that's consistent with his character being a pretty level-headed, decent guy. But no kiss at all... If that were you and your boyfriend or girlfriend left without giving you a kiss would you not find that odd?

Idk but my gay friends are not afraid to show their love.One of my friends said his bf can't keep his hands off him-it's very cute,and he's proud of that. But we're in Austin--maybe it's regional? Or the writers don't think about affection- I don't think it's wrong to expect them to act like bf! Please don't tell me how gr8 it is they don't act like they're lovers-or that Aaron's scared! Why is it that people think gay couples should kiss EVERYTIME they see each other. Lets get real. Do you kiss your mate everytime you see each other....of course not. @Eowyneally Also it seems like the scriptwriters are getting a bit carried away with this whole "non-stereotypical" relationship. They're so pre-occupied with making out how normal and everyday these two are that they've forgotten that they're supposed to fancy men. I dunno, maybe I'm over-reacting a bit but I can't help but shake the feeling that after dealing with all the coming out drama, the writers are unwilling or unable to portray an actual gay relationship.

@alwaysuseless yep. I didn't think tv we saw in England was more uptight than what we saw in Denmark or Germany, for instance.~ But we didn't stay in the hotel all the time,watching it! Even a nice hug would be better -and more realistic, I think,than nothing. Also-I don't like most of the other people on this show & do not watch Holly!
