Unfair comparison … Jackson didn’t get his full start until week 11 his rookie year bc we had Flacco. Jaden is balling no doubt but he is a product of Washington needing a QB … so he was always the future of that franchise. We knew Lamar was the future too but it took Flacco getting hurt for them to finally promote Lamar to full time.

What both teams have going for them defensively is that both QB’s are lightning fast .. while I’ll still give Lamar the edge with quickness, shiftiness, and top end speed … Jaden’s right there… and probably the closest thing to what the commanders are seeing at practice to simulate Lamar.. Ravens defense sees Lamar every day also so simulating that speed of Jaden will be big for them also. They are well aware of not letting Jaden jump out the window on them bc they have seen Lamar do it to opponents way too often. Henry and likely will need to have a big game for us.

Also let’s be real Here. Jayden Daniels has a much better supporting cast on offense than Lamar had as a rookie. Scary terry is easily better than any receiver Lamar has had in his entire nfl career including Zay flowers who I think is a stud. Brian Robinson is a better rb than any rb Lamar has had outside of Derrick Henry.

And I do think Daniel's age is worth pointing out, he's similar to Burrow in term of entering the league a much more finished product, not quite Bo Nix territory, but certainly a far cry from Lamar at 21 with barely two years of college starts. I think it has been helpful in terms of adapting quickly to the NFL.

Lamar didn't have a full season as a starter his rookie year because of flacko. Lamar won MVP the following year and became the youngest to do so.
