His name is Dave Grohl. He was the drummer for Nirvana. After Kurt died he wrote and recorded the first Foo Fighters album. On that album he played each instrument himself. Later he had to find a band to play with him.
@nickblood70804 жыл бұрын
Brei Betzold just adding - many of the song were at least partly written. Pat smear kept playing guitar. The summer and bass player were from sunny day real estate. Second album they changed drummers.

I believe he was already writing those early songs while he was in Nirvana. He never even tried to get them to record any of them because he didn't want to disturb what was working,and knew how bands fight over who's songs get on the album. When Kurt died he already had a lot of material. Just shows how smart he was. He was proud to be a part of Nirvana but wasn't just Nirvana ' s drummer. He definitely had something to say.

This is not by far their “biggest song” in fact it’s a more recent song kinda. They literally have 15+ “hits”. Big Me, Monkey Wrench, My Hero, Everlong, and on and on and on. Love Dave Grohl so much. He's an absolutely phenomenal drummer as well. He was the drummer for Nirvana. He also did the drum work on Queens Of The Stoneage's album Songs For The Deaf which was amazing. One of the nicest guys in rock to boot.

@@stevemic One song is titled "A Song for the Dead" and another is called "A Song for the Deaf". Another, hidden track 0, song is called "The Real Song for the Deaf". These are all on the album called "Songs for the Deaf".

YES!!! Can't stop listening to that song. I think the Glastonbury set 2002 was the best. kzbin.info/www/bejne/roS5fp-djNmjm6c

There are so many gems by the Foo... too many to name. But here are a few: Everlong, Rope, Walk, Learn to Fly ft. Tenacious D, All My Life, Times like These, Zero-Hour, The Sky is a Neighbourhood, and really anything off their album "Wasting Light" Also, can you react to some Judas Priest? In particuar Live US festival '83?

Next, LEARN TO FLY, from FOO FIGHTERS, please! Also do please react to live versions of songs because when it's live, it's a different beast all to get her and much better too.
