Ok, just imagine if u all will for one moment...sadly, of course it won't ever happen...BUT...just imagine...Jinjer performing this song or say Perennial at the Grammy's, with everything they can also bring visually. The sheer shock & awe response that would happen!!!! The audience's realization & flat out FEAR that THIS is the next level of musicianship & vocal skill that is present in the music world. Like I said, it won't happen because metal has always been the black sheep, frowned upon & dissed when it comes to the Grammy's. But the shitting their pants looks on the faces of all the current trend of "amazing pop stars" would be SO epically priceless...

Great reaction. Such a good song. I love all the romantic inuendo mixed with astronomical terminology. And that while she wrote this song as a call to the universe to find someone she was mentally and spiritually compatible with, and compatible in her inner darkness that she says anyone she's revealed it to has used against her ("dark matter is so divine", get it?), she still growls cuz she's fierce like that. :D As good as the soaring cleans at the end are, her technique has improved since this was recorded. Check out Perennial at Wacken. :)

@@mcgaugh57 The first couple records they had a bit of a revolving lineup. Tatiana, Eugene (Bass), Roman (Guitar) and Vlad (New drummer since I think 2016) are the band now and they way the write/tour amd they went from 2 guitarists to 1. The group now seems to be pretty solidified and I get to see them Oct 31. SO EXCITED.
@j.f.fisher53185 жыл бұрын
@@mcgaugh57 it is almost impossible to make it as a professional musician in Ukraine because there is little respect for the arts. Because the nation is outside the cultural and economic network of the European Union bands in Ukraine have less access to international markets and Jinjer has frequently had to cancel shows outside Ukraine because they couldn't get travel visas approved. Their original singer was good but not unique enough to do what Tatiana has done so he left. The blond guitarist in their early videos got a chance to do acting in the US and took it. They have gone through drummers like spinal tap. The first two quit befor Jinjer began seeing some limited success, the third was badly hurt in a fall from a window (I have no idea how that happens), 4th was filling in until they could find a replacement, and hopefully Vlad will stick around. The rest have been stable since Tatiana joined as singer in 2009. Tati's look has changed radically over the years though.
