the thing i love about Deftones is that Chino's voice blends in so well, and almost just sounds like another instrument. The lyrics almost don't even matter. I mean they do, but damn his voice is amazing.

1989 is when they started and they hit their peek around 1998-2001. Absolutely one of my if not THE Most favorite band of mine. I wish you all could have seen them Live back in 1998-99. Chino would stage dive and during the Point fest or warp tour he would climb the speakers Like the TALL ONES on the front side of the stage and Jump off into the crowd. They are awesome. I actually have stories I could o all day abo8ut them. But yeah Chino has a very melodic, Sex, calming Voice and all the woman back in the 90's wanted him it was all ab0out Chino Chino Chino...;.. You actually should do0 a reaction of POLYPHIA Feat CHINO called Bloodbath. Its just came out recently

Deftones are the only 90s nu metal band to leave that umbrella early and went on to fuse 80s shoegaze and alternative heavy music to really be one of the best of their generation. Cherry waves, poltergeist, MX, birthmark are some good songs from their catalog. Band started in 88, came out in 95.

Band released their first album in '95 & their latest one was release in '16. 9 albums in total, not including their "B-Sides & Rarities" release. Of the videos Ive seen you react to, you listened to '97 - '00 albums. Chino's voice can put you into a trance. Love it! Awesome react my dude.

The track house of flies has been in movies “little Nicky” is one that comes to mind, house of flies and digital bath are both tracks that were hits for them, “ my own summer” is probably the song that got this band on the map back in the 90’s. Listen to their entire catalogue. Thank me later, because it'll be one of best music experiences you can have. There's so much to take in with Deftones alone without even getting into Chino's side projects. Mid 90s is when the Deftones started releasing full albums, but they started making music/demos in the late 80s.

It's a very ethereal and trippy album. It was a clear change of tone from their early stuff, but it grew on me to be my favourite of theirs. The production is just amazing (that drums sound !).

The first time I heard this song was in 99 before it was released and I was waaaay too high at a festival and had my ear to the ground as they played. It cemented into my all favourite albums. Definitely my favourite hi hat production for sure.

I believe they came about in 1996. They are by far my all time favorite band. Seen them live around 7 times, anytime they play anywhere near me. Check out thier first album/first track Adrenalin. This is where it all started. You will be even more amazed by how far they've come. Can't wait for the next album in 2020! Keep it up Jamel, digging what you do!

Deftones started in '88 but really took off with their 2nd album Around The Fur in '97. That song you heard "My Own Summer" off that album was on The Matrix soundtrack.

If you're looking for something you may have heard from them before and not known at the time, they had a track in Furious 7 when Vin was loading up his Mustang and shottys. The track is called 'Tempest' off the 2012 'Koi no Yokan' album. Total beast of a song. Definitely worth a reaction. 👍
