May be it's my opinion but I think your video is not confusing as other channel that the way you explain normally as you have experienced and what people thinking. I am waiting for a video of high vocal placement and compression explained...anyone agree?

I like the simplicity of your demonstration. I have often been told to "relax" my tongue. But that's like saying "relax your brain". I finally realized that I had to "put" my tongue forward. Does not feel relaxed at all to me. One has to hear and see an explanation that works for one. 😊

Well thank you I think that in order to sing in mixed voice, wee need to have somewhat of an openthroat and this video helped me fin this, which is my issue when I go higher I tend to close my throat! It also helped me discover my heade voice again, now I get above C5 in head voice effortlessly, I think I just need time to get it consistently!

Thanks, this was actually a good explanation on what exactly to do with one's tongue.

Anatomically the vocal cords are in the larynx which is below the pharynx. My sense of what happens is that by lowering and relaxing the larynx and dropping the tongue, the voice is projected into a more open space towards a hypothetical target of the forehead increasing the resonance and facilitating the transition from chest to head voice and enriching the falsetto voice.

Your explanation is clear, but putting it into practice is complicated, as you've stated. Remembering that the tongue is attached to the hyoid bone, the tongue shouldn't be pulled too forward either, but remain relaxed in the mouth.

I'm sorry but this is soooo bad ! I'm okay for the first 3 mn explanation part of the video but those exercises are about changing register ... nothing to do to with open throat singing! Open throat is not an Italian invention though its the natural way your voice as to be to go as further as it can be ! Open throat technic is used by theater people, market people, cattle men to communicate from longer distance using the most of resonance the throat can give ! It has nothing to do with that dying cat sound you are doing ! We are naturally losing it because of mic, phone, talkiewalkies etc .... and you are not helping by confusing people with bad technic application !
