I felt like I was losing my mind! This was the default version on my copy of No More Tears from the 2000s. I rediscovered this album and all the versions I found, from Amazon, Spotify, KZbin, weren't the one I'd heard. Glad it exists and I haven't been living a lie.
@tharpjesse864 жыл бұрын
You're correct, it's only on versions before they changed it. That being said this is more raw and unpolished with different lyrics, this is closer to a demo version.
@ShinyShinyIsAlwaysBeingSerious4 жыл бұрын
@@tharpjesse86probably because I grew up with this version, the other version sounds less polished to me lol. I find the lyrics more coherent on this version too, which usually means it's later in production because there's less placeholder stuff like the bark at the Moon demos. But I don't know, it's likely nostalgia making this version sound better but I do prefer the lyrics and solo way more. Happy to find it anyway!

@@ShinyShinyIsAlwaysBeingSerious From what I know this version is being replaced because of the lyrics. Censors don't like the "genocidal tendency" line.

Ozzy is the Godfather of not only Heavy Metal but also Christian Rock. Yupp After Forever by Black Sabbath on Master of Reality is the first Christian Rock Song. It is no coincidence that he survived. He is chosen. Many are called, few are chosen

You're welcome, yeah I bought the CD over a decade ago and this was on it, wich i think wasn't the version they intended on putting out, then they changed it to the version they did. This is more rare version than the version now, because the one now is the same one released as a B-side on the Mama, I'm coming home single.

I heard this version first and used to think this was the only version. I was so confused hearing the official version. Only place i used to hear this though was on the 2002 remaster of No More Tears and thought that was the only version. So to me.....this is the official version. Also the lyrics always flowed better on this one too IMO
