Sounds like it could of been an epic song for a soundtrack or end credit roll for a film.

Old LA Tonight is one of the best Songs of all Time. It's so beautiful. Zakk Wylde solo is breathtakingly beautiful and Ozzy's Vocals are gorgeous. The Band plays fantastic. Thanks for uploading.

Is it only me or does this version has a vibe as if it would be part of the No More Tears album?

At all those ozzy demos you can hear the beatles influences, which got lost in the end productions.

This version sounds so much more Ozzy than the final one.

He started recording this album with the same guy who mixed No More Tears, but after they'd done a few songs the record label decided grunge had happened and Ozzy needed to sound more like that, so they got a new guy in and made him start over. Ozzy's been pretty vocal about how much he hated it and how he thinks the original recordings were better.

pre-production take, which the record label declined to finish, the album was completely scrapped, producer changed and completed later like the label wanted with a "soundgarden"-esque sound (they thought it wasn't going to sell with the traditional ozzy sound)

In this version Randy Castillo played on drums? I'm feeling like he was the guy. That style is so Randy. I hate that he didn't play on the album. That man was so talented and such an entertainer.

@@randomvideos20226 no. Slash never played in any of Ozzy albums in THOSE years. Slash played in a bunch of songs in these last years with Ozzy. He sang in Slash's solo album, they played together live with Zakk and Gus G, Slash played Crazy Train with the Conspirators and Slash appeared in the last Ozzy album "Ordinary Man". Slash also played live once with Steven Adler in 1989 in a couple of songs but there's no trace of this concert anywhere. I KNOW Slash very well, I'm a die hard fan... and Slash didn't play on Perry Mason. That is Zakk Wylde. Michael Wagener was the producer in the '90s for Ozzy and he has tons of stuff of No More Tears and Ozzmosis. This record is the most elaborated, tons and tons of artists played on it. Zakk was in studio with Guns N'Roses for almost 2 weeks to work with them on a couple of tracks (one of these was "The Rose Petalled Garden" and while Zakk started playing the piano, Axl was really impressed by the melody and all that stuff, they started to play all together but then Slash and Zakk, while they were working on these stuff, they decided that they couldn't play together in a band, because two soloists cannot coexist in one band. So, when Zakk came back in Ozzy's studio, Joe Holmes was playing his roots for some shows.
