I'd like her to still visit "NY" a lot of new things are opening in NYC soon.. stores, restaurants, etc, that's why you see so much construction going on. I live in NY and have visit LA and you aren't lying at all. It is so bad out there it can be depressing.There needs to be more homeless shelters down there because it is ridiculous. Saw a homeless guy sweeping sand at Venice Beach to sleep.

Downtown LA is where a lot of homeless people reside because a lot of the shelters and food distribution centers are down there and that is where Skid Row is. While we have shelters, there just arent enough to house all of the people. Once contractors began to build up downtown( with the high rise apartments) it pushed the homeless out and they all stay in one location. As an LA native, we would never move downtown no matter how nice the apartments are.
