Y’all know Jayla’s heart is in NYC 😂 I would love to see you conquer and make friends in a new city but I think you still have more to do in New York. Maybe take this year to push all the possibilities there, especially if you’re gonna have Morgan as your roomie and then at the end of your lease figure out what you’re looking for in the next city. One month is a bit stressful to up and move to a new city. Moving in general is stressful. Plus I don’t think Jayla is too concerned about price more so than enjoying her home.

BALANCE by Rey. Agree. If you decide to stay in NY apt 8 (last one) was the nicest. If you and Morgan decide to be roommates you have separate rooms and a room you guys can turn into an office/filming/photo studio. I remember you talking about the issues you had with finding quality studio space. I don't thin you should up and relocate to another city in a month. The search will be just as bad with different issues. If you really want to relocate,... give yourself time to research, visit, etc.

I liked the space & lighting of #8, it looked more like a home. I say do what’s best in your heart, what’s most important to you right now? Think about your desires, goals + what will have the best value. And remember you can still enjoy the benefits of NYC without directly living in the city.

I think you will get more bang for your buck (size and space) moving to another area. I have not seen what opportunities are there since you have been there. You even mentioned yourself about lack of friends there. I think you can travel to opportunities from anywhere but I just haven't seen any opportunities from your FT KZbin career or things even related to your college major (fashion) present themselves. I feel like you simply live in NY and that's it. You can talk to your management from anywhere. You can talk to your publisher from anywhere. You can sell hair from anywhere. You can still be dope Jayla from anywhere. I think you would have the same places to eat, shop and party in any metro city so why be able to either be closer to friends or family or have a much larger place to invest in (or just rent) where you can actually grow into the place versus feel crowded.

What she most or maybe meant of "lack of friends" is the rush time able to really to devote to ppl. as you would like w/o siding or slicing previous. It is just about balancing and merging the two together. She recently had a panel discuss in Syracuse. It is easier to fly out of NY to Paris. We be in the median haul to where she decides and support her next decision.

Right! Alot of opportunities worth traveling for have paid for it all anyway. But if all you are going to do is event me to an event (to get my free promotion) you have to ask yourself if that was even worth my daily cost of living to come. If you want to stay in New York I recommend looking in Brooklyn. It’s cheaper, more square footage and there’s lots to do. Traveling in to the city is only about 20 minutes if you live closer to downtown.

Girl, you're awesome and always had goals and followed your dreams: you trasferred to NY because you were sure it was the place for you....so you have to ask yourself if it's still so. A person can grow a lot in a single year and her career can change and develope, so maybe now it's time to move. Personally, I think you should try other cities for like a month: rent a house in LA, Atlanta, Charlot, Chicago, wherever you think you could live and develope your career and try to really live and work there for that month...it's different than staying somewhere for a week or for a vacation, you'll have to act as if you were there for business and see what kind of vibes the palce gives you. It really works, when I was 15 I went for a month in London for college-like exeprience and an english course: that's how I discovered I want to transfer there from Italy as soon as I can; I have been lucky enough to travel a bit around Europe in my teens, but no matter how beautiful cities like Paris or Athens were, the lifestyle or vibes didn't capture my hearth as London did ;) I wish you the best of luck!

All the homes seem like just enough space for YOU. Not to have a roommate. You’re going to need two rooms alone in NY jayla. The 3 bedroom use looked at on the last day, was the best one and would fit you and Morgan, but I think I agreee w missy Lynn . Get your ass to Texas and get you a whole house ! If you don’t wanna go too far from NY I say try Jersey where you can have easy access to the city, might have better luck.

I think you should stay. Even though I don’t personally know you, but you seem the most happy here in NY. Besides, NY is one of the best place for networking & most diverse. Only downfall is the EXPENSIVE rent prices, as well as, high taxes
