Tatum is really doing a lot even when he's not sinking buckets. He was consistent in drawing pressure and feeding for good looks even in the first half and he didn't force things once it became clear his handles were off. He struggled early tonight but came back from adversity and showed character. That's more than most can ask for and it takes heart. This Celtics squad is unique and incredibly perserverant, which makes their natural talents shine so much more. I hope regardless of whether or not they take it any further that they continue to stay together as a team. Very special chemistry and i love watching them. As a now older guy, despite the Celts beating my Pistons in the 2008 ECF, which renewed my disdain, I must admit that I’m rooting for Coach Udoka, Tatum, Brown, Smart, Horford, and the rest of the squad because they remind me of my Championship Pistons…and I saw my guy Damon Stoudamire as an assistant the other day so what’s not to like about this squad. Lastly, over 20yrs ago was in the army stationed in Baumholder, Germany with a lady from Nesmith, SC, whose last name was also “Nesmith” and she was really cool…I can’t help but think Aaron Nesmith is related to her, which is added incentive for me to root for this Celtics team.

@ Mo Betta .... Boston Fan ( all 4 Sports Teams ) Thanks for showing love to this Celtics Squad. Those 1980's battles were the best! But I'll admit, as a kid, I also rooted for Isaiah Thomas Pistons & later on I rooted for those Chauncey Billups Pistons, too. Be blessed!

@@Wise_Pito no question. I see Ainge now and laugh to myself at how much he irritated me while doing exactly what I would’ve wanted him to do if he was a Piston. And same for Johnny Most (RIP). In hindsight I can’t help but respect how much of a homer he was for Boston. Matter of fact I see the old footage and it’s hilarious as he’s going berserk over the Pistons and our local media while commentating a game. I also think Celtics would be a better and more intriguing matchups against GS than Miami would. I think the Heat would get demolished while the feistiness or Smart is what’s needed against Steph. Williams has size for Looney that Bam doesn’t. Horford and Grant Williams will be interesting against Draymond and Wiggins. Jaylen and Tatum for Klay and Poole, and so on should be a really interesting finals (Celts just have to handle business Fri night and I’ll be rooting for them. Peace ✌🏾😎).
