🧨 The Juan Valdez of pine needles‼️ Jay Leno’s mind is so quick and his comedic timing is still impeccable. Hilarious! And what a fantastic and informative video. The clips of the Ford Motor Company, Edsel Ford & the other content incorporated into this video make it one of the best in the “special field trip edition” category of Jay Leno’s Garage. I never linked Jay with Martha Stewart previously, but both really are incredibly hardworking, self-made, American success stories.

My father had an Edsel Corsair, I don't remember the year (1959?). I loved and still love that car. It was so far ahead of its time. The only problem he had with it was with the mechanics at the dealer's garage. For whatever reason (a five-year-old would not have known) they screwed up an oil change and the transmission was trashed. My father then decided to put a much bigger engine in it, at the dealer's expense. It was a Jag killer. It came in green and white paint. I remember him asking me if I liked the car; I said I hated the color. The car was repainted in solid black. It never failed to start (unlike his Buicks) and never failed to run (unlike his Chryslers). Wish I had it today. The car is long gone (lost in a street racing accident after he sold it), but I found the spare key many years ago, and still keep it on my keychain.
