I about sold my Bose because i couldnt stand the heavy mids "canny" sound from my acoustic straight into Bose, but once i used the insert mode with my Dream 65 it cleaned up my acoustic nicely and took the canny sound away :) Thank you!

Can you use a similar splitter with female XLRs to connect TC Helicon Play Acoustic pedal Vocal Out and Guitar Out XLRs into one male XLR into channel 1 in the S1 Pro+?

I've always been kind of down on Bose, but I have to admit producing something like this with an insert circuit is pretty cool. Thanks for the demo!

Thanks for such great informative video Jay! However, once you hocked up the Helix, and 10R for the loop and drums, I didn't see an option to plug in a mic as you've used all the channels at this point. Please confirm. Thanks!

Great video thank you very much. I’m a vocalist and acoustic guitarist. Thinking about upgrading from the S1 Pro. I’ve just order the TC Electronic Ditto Jam X2 and I also have a TC Electronic Polytune. Can you please explain how I go about hooking the pedals up. FYI I’ve just bought a patch cable also. Thanks you very much Jay.

I just got my guitar transmitter and what I would like to be able to do is to use my Bose t4s mixer as my source of adjusting the guitar tone and taking advantage of the various tone match choices. Is that possible and if so how would you do it and if it can be done what about the other three inputs. Can I also use those in the various scenes I have created by using cables to hook in the other instruments? If this can be done it would be very appreciated if you could do a short video on that because I expect that given the newness of this product there are others who may have the same or similar questions. Thanks Your videos are extremely helpful and I have watched them several times each just to help me understand all of the capabilities of this S1 Pro Plus.

How u connect a multy effect unit with 2 xlr out for stereo as there is only one

Will the effects work if you had two speakers. You don't need pedals for each speaker right?

Really cool advise! The one question: will mic be wirelessly working on Ch1 in this scheme?
@JayLeonardJ8 ай бұрын
Yup, the mic will be active on whatever channel you first arm the wireless bug too.
@julielocke-balish17078 ай бұрын
So if you use the wireless mic and guitar.. does that make the channel 1 and 2 still available to use? So it can be all wireless but your pedalboards power supply still Needs to be plugged in to an outlet? and my DigiTech pedal still would need a plug in?

Curious about running a roland SPD X pro through this? I do a fair bit of looping so you answered all my guitar set up questions but I don't use a drum machine with my loops. I usually put my percussion in vocally and with my SPDX PRO. How does this speaker handle drum pads like the spd x or similar pads? Lots of lows from the fat kicks but still need those highs for the samples and the stereo loops from the pad?

i just have a question tho, like can i plug 3 instruments and a mic with it , I mean the mic and guitar wirelessly and two others with the cable?

Unfortunately not. Unless you use an external mixer. Only 3 inputs at one time on this box.

Nice! Just wondering why not plug the transmitter paired to channel 1 or 2 into the output of a multi-FX unit and connect your guitar into the input?
@JayLeonardJ Жыл бұрын
That would work but, in that case, your guitar would be tethered to the multi-fx pedal with a 1/4" cable and not be wireless. If you wanted your guitar to be completely wireless, you would then use the insert function.
@MarkFromHawaii Жыл бұрын
Okay - thanks JayLeonard. But in a performance setting, I would have my multi-FX in front of me with two cables running back to channel 1 or 2 since I'd want to step on footswitches for different presets. I'd still set the channel for FRFR with the transmitter coming out of the multi-FX? Love the playing with looper and the Helix btw.
@scottbecker3485 Жыл бұрын
Cool option, and wonderfully presented - thank you. But I‘m wondering what the point of wireless is when you have the pedalboard wired to the speaker anyhow, since you will no doubt need to stay close to your pedalboard in order to change settings, etc. So why not just go straight into the pedalboard, and then into the speaker? Or am I missing the point?
@JayLeonardJ Жыл бұрын
You may want your pedalboard near you but, when you are not actively switching presets, you have the freedom to move around the stage and in the audience with wireless freedom. Also, it would be useful for musicians that only one run sound and just want some extra effects in their signal. I also like the wireless thing for soundcheck. You can move your gear and app anywhere you want and do your soundcheck by yourself to see how you sound all over the room.
@scottbecker3485 Жыл бұрын
@@JayLeonardJ Thank you very much for this helpful response. You sold me on the soundcheck idea, for sure! Even though I also sing (so need to soundcheck that signal, too), being able to soundcheck the guitar without cables would be very cool indeed. EDIT: More fool me: Just watched Part 1 of this 2-part series, and learned from you about the mic channel also having wireless capabilities. Now that makes it interesting, indeed… I wonder if any of the ToneMatch presets (for guitar and for vocals) include compression?
@berkeleybernie Жыл бұрын
A bit confused. If you are using the input function to run wires to devices on the floor, then it's not really a wireless setup (except for the guitar), right? To avoid floor wires, one would need to run the insert to, say, a rack rig that is controlled wirelessly from a floor remote controller. If you have a regular pedalboard with stomp boxes, you would still need to run the input send/return cables to the pedalboard, yes?
@JayLeonardJ11 ай бұрын
Yup, the idea is that - although rig is wired up - your guitar doesn't have to be.

You can plug your pedalboard directly to the tower and use it normally :) If you need a guitar amp sim, you would need a dedicated unit for that though.

Huh????? Xvive costs$200 for transmitter and receiver ! Vs $150 transmitter and receiver always charged always secured with speaker great company to stand behind product etc So, you want to explain what's so expensive about them...... 🤪
