He reminds me of Paul Pierce. Very shifty, decent size and lower body strength. Has a solid jumper to keep defenders honest. I like that he’s willing to platy with his back to the basket, with very good footwork. And last he has very deceptive athleticism. He will bang it on you if he has a step!! My NYK’s could definitely use this kid!

Yeah, on a scale, he's between Pierce and McCollum imo Not as strong as Pierce, not as good a jumper&passer as McCollum but a nice smooth game(next level he will need to draw fouls better)

He would be a great development player to have off the bench. If everyone comes back next season likely sees little to no time but that would be ok. Get his rhythm in G league with playing time until needed with injury or trade

I’m curious to see how Tyson plays with the Cavs because his usage rate will be down AND he’s going to have to play off the ball. If he’s in the Cavs rotation, Kenny Atkinson will surely put the ball primarily in the hands of Garland, Mitchell, and Caris LeVert before Tyson because those guys have proven they can play on ball in the NBA. Possibly even Craig Porter Jr because he’s a natural point guard and showed an ability to play on ball last season when the Cavs backcourt had prolonged injuries. Most of these highlights are with Tyson playing on ball and I just don’t feel like he’s going to play this role much unless he’s the steal of the draft and proves he deserves that role over the established rotation guys. We’ll see…I do like his game though. Not very athletic but strong and very skilled.
