If I saw a bowl of candy and a tray of homemade brownies at work, I'd automatically give the brownie maker more credit bc that's obviously way harder to do than, as Justin so eloquently put it, "opening a plastic bag....and upending it into a bowl"

When I heard this bit, I thought Travis was just suddenly going off on a tangent, but just now I realized that "Snickers and Smarties" means something different to me, a Canadian, than to Justin and Travis, Americans. American Smarties/Canadian Rockets are trash tier to begin with, let alone mixed with chocolate.

I feel like I say this every time, but you are SO GOOD at using slight variations in shapes and palette to make each character unique, plus they have a developed-enough aesthetic that the viewer recognizes them as an individual with their own backstory and motivations. So we not only get these nuggets of joy that are your animations, but then there’s the whole Geo-verse full of new McElroy-adjacent people ☺️ I love it so much!!!

I don't know how you do it, but your characters are always the cutest. Especially the ladies. And unlike some artists, they all have such a distinct look from each other. Brownie lady looks way different from 5:22 crowd lady who looks different from the haunted fishin' hole lady and so on. Such unique looks for each. Just another reason I love your work!

Half the joy I derive from these videos is seeing all of the fun character design work and environmental details you put into these videos. Honestly, Travis is right. You can't mix fruit sweets and chocolate sweets. A lady at my office, she's a sweetheart bless her soul, BUT.. she brings giant bags of smarties/starburst and throws it into the candy bowl of chocolates. And I swear, I cannot eat a piece of starburst or a chocolate bar without tasting the aforementioned candy. Words of wisdom, Travis. Words of wisdom. Also great animation as usual! I think it depends. If there's a bowl of GOOD candy next to a tray of UNCUT or SLICED brownies in the pan? I'd take the candy likely, especially if no one told me the brownies were free If it's gross candy next to a PLATE of PRECUT brownies that I can just pick up directly with a napkin? you GOTTA eliminate the candy from the equation. no question. if u put the brownies out next to the candy, u have to split the treat credit and if u bring brownies in te next day, it seems like u stole the candy persons idea. u could “accidentally” destroy the candy bowl, OR even better, you steal the candy, replace it w brownies, then bring the candy out the next day and pass it off as your own so that u have now treated the office twice in a row. u will make one major enemy of the person who brought the candy, but everyone else will love you so much that it balances out

I think the real solution to this is, you make one of those 3x4 cards that says like, the ingredients or whatever, and a little :) at the bottom with a nice message and then people will be like “aw! So and so made such a nice little treat for us!” And tou can then direct people liek “oh hey i made brownies for you all btw! Theyre in the break room!” And then they asume YOU left the candy not the other way around. Double credit.
