Insidious is a 2010 supernatural horror film directed by James Wan, written by Leigh Whannell, and starring Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, and Barbara Hershey. The thing about kids and the paranormal, a lot of the time they won’t be scared or as scared as they would be, because kids can sense spirits since they’re still very young, and have open minds. Once something actually scary happens, that’s when they truly freak out

James Wan doesn’t direct more than 2 movies in a series. He refuses to do trilogies. He only directed the first 2 Insidious movies. He produces the rest.
