EXACTLY 💯 CORRECT. Some of the ones that are still in are not great singers but voted because of their stories. Some of the guys that got voted off are real singers. That's what is what I hate about these singing competitions and stopped watching 👀 them.

It’s about their overall success as a musician. Those people bring rating and views which is what American idol cares about …. If they see the packet they will differ in qualified aspects that push them forward. Each case is different I’ve seen …. When it's up to america to vote it's never, ever fair because people will vote based on who they know, not how well the contestant can sing. This is how some of the contestants who deserve to be a top contestant ends up in danger zone. Perfect example: Many years ago it was Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson, two of the most powerful singers, ended up at the bottom and had to sing for a top spot. This happens every year to some of the best. Its just sad to see some of the top performers get voted off. Best of luck to the top 14 standing. May the best win!
